Dedication Ritual

This ritual should only be performed when one is 100% sure they are willing to dedicate their life to Father. I recommend doing months of research and dabbling before becoming fully dedicated. 1 or more black, blue or red candles (as many as you like) A sterilized needle or razor A piece of clean paper, large enough to write the prayer below A dry pen, where you sign your name in blood (dip the tip of the pen in your blood)

Write the following prayer:

“Before the almighty and ineffable God Satan/Lucifer and in the presence of all Demons of Hell, who are the True and the Original gods, I, (state your full name) renounce any and all past allegiances. I renounce the false Judeo/Christian god Jehova, I renounce his vile and worthless son Jesus Christ, I renounce his foul, odious, and rotten holy spirit.

I proclaim Satan Lucifer as my one and only God. I promise to recognize and honor him in all things, without reservation, desiring in return, his manifold assistance in the successful completion of my endeavors.”

It is important to bathe before any rituals you perform, this is done out of respect. When you are ready, you can light the candle. Take the needle, prick the index finger of your left hand, squeeze some blood out.

Sign your name in blood.

Recite the prayer either aloud or in your head

Fold the paper and let it burn in the fire of the candle. Many of us have stayed and meditated until the candle had burned itself out.

I completely understand this concern - let me restate that I DO NOT SUPPORT JOS - I just find some of their resources still usable. However, as I said in my previous answer, this practice is an art and there isn’t one specific way that is right.

Hello, excuse me, what other websites do you use to know more about of spiritual satanism? I'been heard about what happened with Joy of Satan and well, i was losing my confidence of that site, so I would like found some websites to know more about the theory and rituals. Sorry, my engish is bullitshit lol.

I would honestly have to find new websites and try to revisit the old ones I used, I was a big fan of Lilith Stark and TheisticSatanism.com but I have no clue if they’re up anymore. Recently, I’ve stuck to my own resources and been self teaching. This practice is an art! No one clear path to follow, have fun with it! Just be properly educated when it comes to magick work and working with Entities. I’ll try to make a post about new websites and books, for now if any followers have decent sites to share - feel free!

I am NOT supportive of JoS, I however do appreciate some of their resources. Let’s put it this way - I as a human being, not just as a Satanist, am also an extreme liberal in the US. I do not support any form of bigotry or any neo-nazi. It’s Satanists for Bernie 2020 🙏 🤟✌️

How do you know if the dedication ritual worked? You know that you didn't mess it up or something

The first way to tell is the feeling. The empowerment. But, I assume, you could always ask. If a few mess ups happened, I don't see why it wouldn't allow you to be dedicated.

If you choose to do this, I'm sure Father would be very pleased. But do it by your own free will and wanting, not to just please Father.

So a few years ago i did the dedication ritual. But i could only get a very miniscule amount of blood on the paper. I burned it but i didn't meditate on the candle. So now I've been slacking on the meditations and now i feel like im not really a satanist but i still pray to Father. It just feels like Father isnt really pleased with me or He doesnt really see me as one. Im just lost right now

This happens sometimes, and the good news is; it's okay! You are only human, bound to make mistakes. It's possible you may have offended Father with the dedication ritual part, so I'd recommend apologizing formally. Father understands mistakes are made, so long as you learn from them, my friend.

What does Satanism think of the usage of psychoactive drugs for spiritualism? It generally takes a stance against drugs such as cocaine or heroin but hasn't spoke about things like marijuana or hallucinogenics.

Okay, this is something I try to avoid because it gets into very very deep beliefs, theories, and philosophies I follow, and I fear that if I share these beliefs, it may invalidate the others in the eyes of the majority.Personally, I am a stoner. I smoke marijuana on a nearly daily basis, but I keep it in check to where it never becomes a problem. I'm by no means "high 24/7", nor am I "stoned out of my mind" almost ever. I personally love psychedelics, although I made a personal commitment to never again touch LSD. I am not in anyway saying "Satan says smoke weed and drop acid", but these are 100% MY beliefs. I have never done shrooms, but one day, I would like to experiment. But the #1 psychaelic that has my full attention is DMT. I have never done it, but I wish to. I will not do a big thing on this (unless I see a demand for it). If you wish to learn WHY I am in love with the topic matter of DMT, do the research. It goes into so many different things, and will open your mind to entire new worlds.

Ive been interested in theistic satanism for years, only recently am i beginning to look into these feelings seriously. I began to believe i was ready after a night where i was going through hardships, i laid down and thought hard before deciding to do something. I prayed, i guess you could call it, to Satan and felt a tingling inside me and a warmth course through me and calmness. Does this mean anything? Where should i first look for answers on how to show Satan my love and devotion?

This warms my heart. Your situation sounds familiar to that of my own when I first began to dabble in Theistic Satanism. If you wish to show gratitude or dedication, one of the best ways to do so is educate yourself to the fullest extent, and share thr knowledge you gain. Don't be a Mormon and knock on doors, but be open about your beliefs and if someone asks you "hey, what's it like...?" Explain to them. You can meditate with Satan, kinda just spent time with Him. I enjoy meditating while playing certain albums I enjoy, or entire musicians. Just something to show "hey, I still love you".

I have been EXTREMELY busy these last few months, but many things have been fixed and I am trying to get this account back on track. Most of my days are busy, so I will try to have a select daily time that I check up on this account, but I am only human (with bills to pay and mouths to feed), so please bare with me. Hello dear, I've got a somewhat odd question for you. I practice witchcraft in addition to my Satanism. I know Father isn't big on causing undue harm to people, so I don't generally curse unless someone does me seriously wrong. Last time I did a small bad luck hex, and they got in a fairly bad car accident, when all I wanted for them was a little bad luck. If I do a curse and it has worse consequences than I intend, will Father hold it against me? What if they're seriously hurt or die?

If you worry about this, the reason you cursed them isn't a good enough reason. I cannot tell you for sure what Father would do. You'll have to find out.

Actually, doing so is banned. Satanists are viewing everything that is alive as sacred.

Using drugs in rituals

Although some smaller sects tend to use psychodelics, most of us stay away from that kind of thing, but we believe that everyone has their own right to do whatever they want.

Defractionized Christianity

Most see us as Christians that want to rebel and show how cool we are. There is a group that view Satan as shown in the Bible, but there are people. who see him as Seth, Enki or a completely different deity.

We’re full of conceit, vanity, cockiness and feeling superiority

That’s called  “satanist superman syndrome”. It doesn’t happen that often, and most of us grow out of it in some time. 

Raping people and kidnapping virgins

Rape is banned. So is kidnapping. End of story.

Selling soul

No, we don’t “sell our soul” for wishes such as fame, money or sex. Instead, we perform a dedication rite when we pledge our loyality to Satan out of pure love and not demanding anything in return.

Black Mass

It is supposed to get rid of any Christian residues left inside of us before the dedication rite. But as I mentioned above, no goat sacrificing and raping virgins. It’s usually a regular mass filled with satanism symbolism or performed backwards.

Being evil

Satanism reaches much further beyond the concept of “good” and “evil”. We simply have our own morality, but I’ve never heard about a satanist being what would be considered “evil”.

Eating cats

That’s just plain stupidity.

Burning churches

That was a practice of Norwegian black metal music lovers in the 90′s, not satanists.

Destroying cemeteries

Digging up graves, smashing tombstones, performing Black Masses on the cemetery… We’ve all heard it. But do we do it? Nope.

Hating Christians and Christianity

Although it’s true that most of us don’t have that great opinion on it, but we believe that everyone has the right to believe in whatever they want and worship whatever they want and we’re not supposed to pick on people we’re not agreeing with.

Using curses

Some of us do, some of us don’t. It all depends on a satanist opinion on it.

Nope. We seek to empower ourselves and be equal as gods.

Will Father be offended because I'm unable to perform any sort of ritual due to my lack of resources, age and Christian parents?

Again, in actuality, you only need yourself to perform most rituals, just tools like candles and such can help. There is no age requirement either. As for the parents though, this is a normal situation that many people are in, and it is perfectly fine. Father understands when people are in difficult situations and no one will hold it against you.
