It was a year ago today that The Secret Circle's series finale aired on The CW. And while 365 days have passed, we have not forgotten the circle. Please join us in honoring one of the series' best episodes, and remembering the world of possibilities the season finale left us with. Here's a number of ways to relive the magic with us:
Check in to TSC's GetGlue page starting at 8pm ET on Friday, May 10th here.
Be sure to tweet with Save the Circle on Twitter (@savethecircle) between the hours of 9 pm and 12 am ET and use the hash tag #SecretCircle
Be sure to watch The Secret Circle's finale episode "Family" on Netflix OR at any of the following places:
STC staffers and fans are stopping by the Warner Bros. Entertainment offices in New York City (1325 Avenue of the Americas, New York, New York 10019) on Monday July, 30th in the afternoon to hand deliver postcards and a letter asking Warner Home Video to release The Secret Circle on DVD. While one staffer goes inside to deliver the postcards and letter, other fans will be waiting outside holding an official banner for the Save The Circle campaign. Pictures will be taken and posted on the homepage. If you would like to join the group attending, please tweet @hezzy76 for more details.
Sometime this upcoming week, our first delivery of 2,500 postcards for a DVD release will be delivered to Warner Home Video in Burbank, California. Once we receive delivery confirmation, we’ll post it to the news page and share it on our twitter and tumblr. We’ll be sending WHV 3 more bulk postcard mailings (of 2,500) in the upcoming weeks. If you are a fan that emailed us asking to donate, we will be contacting you within the week to accept donations and put them towards our second postcard drop. If you would like to know more about how the postcard drop off is working and how donations are being accepted, please tweet @savethecircle.
Our official campaign video and a certified copy of our DVD release appeal letter will be going out to the Warner offices in early August. Once that has been finalized and mailed we’ll post both the video and the letter on the site for fans to see.
Finally we are in the process of purchasing outdoor advertising in NYC or LA to help encourage a release of the show on DVD. If you have suggestions for outdoor advertising that may be the most effective for our campaign or ideas for what the advertising should say, please tweet @alllthewaydead for where to submit your suggestions and ideas.

Last week the blooper reel mentioned by Executive Producer Andrew Miller on his twitter surfaced for fans to watch. Very recently, the pilot script for the series has also surfaced. These are both goodies we know fans of TSC will enjoy, which is why we’ve shared them. The blooper reel has been viewed over 65,000 times since its release last week.

Secret Circle Scores 3rd Highest Live +7 DVR Ratings on The CW for 2011-2012 Season.
Last week TV By The Numbers released the full season Live +7 DVR ratings for network television shows. The Secret Circle scored the 3rd highest in +7 gains. DVR gains averaged 0.4 in the 18-49 demo (57.1%), giving TSC a season average higher than that of renewed freshman series Heart of Dixie–a 1.1 average (TSC) versus a 1.0 average (HOD). TSC also tied veteran and renewed series Supernatural in total gains and average season demo performance due to DVR +7 ratings. To see the full list of DVR +7 ratings rankings, click here.
Several fans have put together a music video in honor of the fan base efforts to save the show. You can watch the video here and download the song here.
We are now resuming our usual reliving the magic order, with this week’s episode being ‘Heather’. While we are adjusting our major goals at savethecircle, we have directed our current campaign at Warner Brothers to release The Secret Circle on DVD. We want to show the WB just how much we want our show on DVD, so we have decided this weeks twitter topic will be “TSC2DVD”.

Save The Secret Circle Staff Talk With The VRO Today.
Three of our staff members chatted to VRO today about where our campaign is at, why we have made the moves we have, and what to expect from us in the future. They also answered a few questions from fans.
You can listen to the interview here
This podcast is extremely informative, and answers a lot of questions that fans have been asking.
After we officially ended our pitch campaign to ABC Family and MTV networks (and The WB informed Zap 2 It that they have no plans to release a DVD), many fans came to us with a reasonable request: If we can’t have a season 2, we should have a DVD. There appears to be a large enough group of fans who desire this (signaling a potential profit for The WB) that we decided to put our heads together and find a way for you to, at the very least, voice your opinion on the matter. If you are serious about getting the show onto DVD, we suggest contacting the network every way we’ve mentioned periodically. Shows have gotten DVDs through campaigning, so it is possible.
Below are several ways you can help bring The Secret Circle to DVD. Word of mouth will play a huge part in making this happen, so contact small and large TSC accounts and share the news with your followers.
Warner Bros. Customer Service Form Campaign
Visit The WB Online’s site and fill out a CUSTOMER SERVICE FORM to let them know you wish to see the series on DVD. For the “This is regarding” drop-down menu, select “Home Video & DVD.” Then write a statement in the comment box (a paragraph or a bit more), on why TSC should be put on DVD. Below we’ve got some notes and tips to help you when filling out your form.
Tips
Remember to be polite, professional and articulate
Try not to sound demanding as this is a turn off for whoever reads your comment
Somewhere in the comment box, write an encouragement for them to pass on the request to the appropriate person/department
Include your name and hometown at the end of your comment
Notes
TV shows on DVD continues to be a profitable business and many fans have expressed a strong desire to have season 1 on dvd, despite potential price
Mention fans would support a regular DVD release, a limited time release, or a limited quantity boxset release
Include that fans will accept potential show soundtrack changes if that makes licensing fees cheaper.
Many fans know that EP Andrew Miller had special features/unreleased footage set to be go along with the DVD, making it more desirable and increasing its potential value/worth to fans
Phone Campaign
Speak directly with Warner Home Video about your request for a The Secret Circle Season 1 DVD by calling (818)-954-6000. Talking to someone one-on-one ensures your voice is heard & not ignored. If you end up not being able to speak with someone directly, be sure to leave a message if at all possible. You may call as many times as you like, but remember to keep it professional and articulate. Use our notes from our Customer Service Form appeal to aid you in what to say over the phone. In addition, we ask that you use the phone number responsibly, meaning no harassing Warner Home Video through the phone system. Some tips for when you speak to WHV over the phone:
Avoid sounding rude or demanding.
Talk about how much you love the show, how much you enjoyed watching it on The CW this past season, & what a special thing for you as a fan it would be to have the show’s one and only season to re-watch again and again.
Mention some of the reasons why TSC should be on DVD, such as it’s large fanbase which made itself known after its cancellation and its potential international appeal (and sales).
Reiterate the popularity the DVDs of the show among die-hard fans (and individuals who never watched the show but had planned to during a summer run) and how the release of never-before-seen footage, bloopers, etc. would only more strongly appeal to fans.
Share that fans would support a regular DVD release, a limited time release, or a limited quantity boxset release and that fans would accept potential soundtrack changes for licensing purposes.
Request that your message be given to an executive at Warner Home Video
Letter Campaign
Letters are a very important way in illustrating how much support we have for getting the show out on DVD. And though it may mean a little extra time (and cost of postage) for you, it speaks volumes to your desire. It’s a quite effective method of showing Warner Brothers how much time and energy you are willing to put into getting TSC on DVD.
One plus to the letter campaign: you can use what you wrote for the customer service campaign in your mail letter. To be taken more seriously, remember to use our tips and notes. Also remember to include your name and hometown at the bottom of the letter. You can mail your letters to:

TV Shows on DVD Campaign
This is directly from the tvshowsondvd.com website. We strongly encourage you to participate in this as it has helped get several other shows released on DVD, including shows by Warner Home Video.
TVShowsOnDVD.com was created to allow consumers to let the studios know that they’d buy a show if it were released on DVD. This is achieved through voting for a show, which is available to registered users of the site. Voting allows you to:
Express interest in owning a show if it were released on DVD
Receive email updates if news or release information is ever posted to the site
Track the popularity of the show you’ve voted for
Voting is easy, but it requires that you become a member of the site and log into your account. You can search for a show two places on the site; in the top search bar labeled “Search TV Shows” or by clicking on “TV Show Voting/Info” in the navigation bar. Clicking on “TV Show Voting/Info” provides you with more options to restrict your search, which is good if you’d like to browse shows in a certain genre, or decade, while the “Search TV Shows” searches for the name of the show, or a word it contains.
