Rebel and a Reason - Updated - Season 2 Episode 1

“I didn’t realize seeing my mother was a special occasion,” Savi replied as she eyed the knife block on the counter.

Valentine made a bit of an ‘eh’ expression before saying, “Your mother, not so much. Now you Savannah, seeing how much you progressed, that was a special occasion. That and seeing you bond with my son.”

“You weren’t too pleased when I went along with him to kill that feral Wolf,” Savi countered then waved her hand towards the spaghetti. “I’ll pass.”

Valentine paused when he heard Savi bring up how his son took her to kill the Wolf, but he didn’t pursue the topic further and focused on the food. “Just try some. It’s the same recipe I used to make, I swear.”

“I said ‘I’ll pass’,” Savi shot back then grabbed one of the knives from the block and threw it at him.

Valentine quickly dodged, causing the knife to stick right into the wall. “Didn’t your mother teach you not to play with knives?”

“On the contrary,” Savi answered, grabbing another, “she encouraged it!”
