One Little Dumpling... [Starter]
Alois was in the mood for sweets at the moment. Something to satisfy his sweet tooth. Normally he would go to Funtom for such things, but since that was farther away from where the boy originally was, he didn’t want to go the distance. Who would want to walk that far for a treat?! It was ridiculous in Alois’ opinion. Scanning the various shops, he noticed a quaint little shop two stores down from where he stood. He began to walk towards it, his hankering for sweets growing larger with each step. When he walked in, he noticed the clanging of the bell. A woman was there to greet him. Well by thinking about it, she didn’t really look much like a woman. More like a matured teenage girl. “Hello!” He greeted back, waving as well. “You sell sweets here, correct?” Gosh, did he hope so.
//Awawawa, polite and cute! The brunette set her broom against the shop’s counter for a moment, giving herself time to nod a response and gesture to the bins, half-open drawers, and shelves. They were decorated with a vast array of European and Japanese sweets, mixing together in an eye-grabbing way. All of them were home-made, save for the occasional pre-bought bread used to make the creme horns.//
Alois walked closer, looking quizzically at each and every thing, since this shop was entirely new and foreign to him. “What are those? They look rather… Odd.” His expression was scrunched up into a slight repulsed look, yet it was more questioning. He was curious. Such candy he had never seen before. These must be the Japanese candies. Alois kept his eyes on the candy, as if he were debated whether or not they would move. It was rude of him to be making such a huge fuss, but he usually tended to overreact anyway.
// Putting her arms at her sides for a moment and traipsing up to the boy, her hands stretched away from her hips like a little girl's, the brunette quietly, and finally, spoke. One pale arm shot out, index finger pointing to various goods.// "Mochi." //Point.// "Odango." //Point.// "Botan-ame." //Point.// "Konpeito."

// The brunette was busy, cleaning and such. The shop must be presentable, all things of that ilk. She had no one working for her; after all, she was a woman daring to own and operate a store. So, she worked alone, for now, with her family heirloom hidden in her gown. Protection and all. A faint tinkling alerted her to a customer entering the shop. Brown eyes darted upwards, a hand went in the air, waving to the delicate, blonde young boy. Hmm…such lovely clothes…he must be from quite a wealthy family. …Why would he be buying sweets here, of all the places in London?//
