Had the Omakase Course at Shoya for my birthday 🎉 and enjoyed every bit of it. The sashimi was fresh and beautifully presented. The unagi was heavenly, just like the ones I had in Japan (but smaller! 😣 Can’t get enough of unagi!)
Course included: 🦀 Hokkaido Crab Salad and Tuna Tatare Canapé 🐣 Hatching Ocean Egg (basically a chawan-less mushi) 🍣 Assorted Sashimi in Fancy Pants Ice Bowl 🐮 Gyu Tan Anago (ox tongue, unagi and eggplant) 🦀 Hokkaido Crab Tempura 🐮 Wagyu Beef Steak 🍰 Cheesecake, Chocolate cake and Sesame Mousse
I definitely want to come back and try the full unagi kabayaki now that I’ve experienced the quality flavour!
