“Just so you’re well and truly aware, it’s your turn to stay up with him.” Cassidy stated, the curvature of a smile only gracing her features moments afterwards as she looked across the space between them on the couch to the familiar head of tousled blonde hair. “I still think he likes you better anyway.”
Sawyer needed a cigarette. Since their kid had been brought home, since Elijah now slept in a room not far from where he sat, Sawyer had stopped smoking in the house. He’d stopped a lot of things since he’d first seen his boy, even if he was still struggling with every decision he had made. “Ain’t it your turn by now?” He questioned, turning his head to lock gazes with the werewolf. “Most everyone does,” he grinned now, the edges of his lips slowly curving up.
