When Rhys get into bed with a woman the previous night he had been sure they both knew it was going to be a one-night stand. That’s what it was always like. Usually he didn’t have a problem sneaking off in the morning either, but somehow she had waken up before him and gotten mad at him when he started looking for his clothes. Before Rhys could blink she had picked up all off his clothes, thrown them out of the window and told him to leave or she’d call the police. He got out of there as fast as possible. The only good thing was that it was still early in the morning and no one seemed to be outside yet until Rhys almost walked into Sawyer because he was looking at the ground. “This is not what it looks like, I promise. But in case it is what you think it is, would you mind helping me looking for my other shoe? I’m trying not to get arrested for indecent exposure and I need my clothes for that.”

Becoming a morning person was not a transition that was one that Sawyer made willingly. Being a bar owner often meant late nights and early morning, just to try and get things together for the next night. but it was one that seemed to bring new experiences. Such as the one she was staring at through her dark tinted glasses. The cat and mouse game between her and Rhys had been one that was interesting enough, but this was causing downright filthy thoughts to run through her mind. Without a word, she brought her large coffee to her lips, simply enjoy the free show the fates had gifted her with. “I don’t think there’s anyway for me to not to assume correctly here, handsome”, she smirked, crossing her arms over her chest. “I don’t think I can help, ‘m really just enjoying this view all too much and why ruin that for myself?”, her words were light and yet full of so many meanings and assumptions, brought on by those inappropriate thoughts. “Shoe’s stuck in the planter behind you”, she finally caved in, knowing torturing him could only go so far.
