NOSTALGIA SET | DL separated | DL merged
firstly, please excuse the terrible previews yet again. I donât know whatâs happening to me, but this project already took roughly 48 hours more time than it shouldâve so this is what weâre going with. it all started with me thinking âoh, I should make some blanket recolours because I donât have anyâ, and⊠this happened. the blanket seems to be completely secondary somehow. anyway.
named aptly after the fact that Iâm somehow stuck in the past and rekindled my passion for colourlovers patterns. theyâre good shit, theyâre vintage at this point (god, Iâm an old hag), and theyâre free & legal, so.
meshes are included, functions fixed, items updated, &c. everything should be working fine - if something doesnât please send me a message because this is a lot of things and Iâm bound to fuck up. everything is hosted on dropbox at the moment, but Iâll add simfileshare links as soon as it works again. okay!
nanu mao pillow recolours : a conversion by @mio-sims, comes in 3 versions with 17, 11, and 10 swatches respectively: figurative (funky prints and florals), geometric (self-explanatory), and vintage (which is more like tacky stuff for your grandma sims or those obnoxious ones that have âbless this messâ and vintage kitchen signs everywhere, you know the ones). theyâre floor pillows and rather big, but can be lifted decently with the 9 key and resized with [.
cassandre butterfly throw recolours : again, converted by mio, these come in 2 versions: 24 (yes, I know) patterned ones and 16 knits. I promise this is the only time I got overexcited with the swatches. well, almost.
leehee pillow recolours : these are converted by @msteaqueenâ bless her heart, and the only bed pillows I use. all three angles (?) are recoloured in 12 different patterns each, some are complementary, some random. theyâre deco versions so you can use them with any bed/functional mattress.
jonesi blanket recolours : again, converted by MTQ, but this time I didnât do all 13 versions lmao, just this one. itâs basically the only one I use, anyway. it does come in 20 swatches though, to make up for it. again, deco version so it can be used with whatever.
nano cluit love seat & armchair : they both come in the same 15 swatches, the love seat is fixed and updated so it doesnât disappear upon placing, and I couldnât fix the pesky shadows but Iâm not that bothered by them, honestly. I used zerographicâs fabric texture for it so theyâre nice and faded, just like in TS2.
orla kiely prints : a recolour of @lina-cherieââs mesh, I really wanted some Orla Kiely stuff and I opted for framed fabrics, for some reason. there are 18 swatches of them, and it can be enlarged without any major texture quality loss.
Iâve bunked the previews of all swatches under the cut so this post wonât be as long as Iâve spent on these recolours⊠enjoy!
