I'm sorry but does anyone get irked abt how all the x black fem readers are the same???
Like the reader is always so one dimensional and is always the same stereotype of black women portrayed on TV : sassy, "agressive and ghetto" (lemme not even start w those ones) loud and outgoing. Although there isn't inherently wrong with being loud, outgoing or sassy, it feels like that's all there is to black women esp when it comes to AA women in particular I notice (not AA btw im 🇳🇬 ethnicity wise).
I wish there was acc more representation for girles that don't necessarily match that stereotype of black women cus black women nd WOC in general are NOT A MONOLITH !!!
I could also talk abt how x black fem reader fanfics nd writes r always abt either sex of money but alots of the time DRUGSSS 😓
I can't be the only one who feels some typa way abt it. Like why does reader always have to be doing drugs or always drinking alcohol or stuff like that. Genuinely, y is that writers attribute to our community cus that's never a big thing on normal x reader fics???? im not gonna go too deep on that tho
In short: please please pleaseee I hope one day we can have more diverse x black fem readers!!!
Note- this is not to hate on x black fem readers or ppl who write these typa fics in general just some criticisms i have w them!!! I love being able to see things i can relate to in fcs esp cus alotta the time x readers are just x ocs in disguise. Like sorry I don't have blue eyes😪
