Fingers tapped idly on the table in sync to the harmony that came from the live band. Seunghyun took in the club with mild interest as he waited for his friend to show up. The various exchanges through the room filled him with a sense of sonder. He wondered then if he was simply overreacting to his current conundrum. Perhaps it was his lack of knowledge in the aspects of love that had caused him to act so crass around you?

“Seung, sorry I’m late.”

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a familiar voice. He smiled nonchalantly, lifting his glass to indicate that all was well. As his friend took his seat before him, Seunghyun called for the waiter and asked for another glass to be brought to the table.

“So, are you going to tell me what this is about?”

His friend leaned back against the chair, preparing himself, it seemed, for a long conversation whilst simultaneously avoiding the actual problem. Which was an art Seunghyun was vastly skilled at.

“I have this friend,” he began.
