Seems like people are being shadow banned. Posts appear on the dashboard, but not on blogs.

Did some testing. I can edit the last post that appears on my blog, and it’ll display. My reblog-blog updates accordingly though. So it doesn’t appear to be affecting my account - just this blog in particular.

This stuff appears in my archive, however.

It makes me sad to see such a nice blog being tore apart by this nonsense. And just when I make a new account specifically to comunicate with artists I like, Tumblr starts melting down even harder than usual... I guess I'll go back to following you anonymously, on Twitter. Best of luck with your future art endeavors!

It’s pretty crappy, yeah.

I don’t really know what I’m going to do. Even if my art gets deemed as acceptable presented nipple content, I still wont be using Tumblr for OC anymore as a point of solidarity for many of my friends and other artists who are getting impacted by this.

I’m not sure I’ll post much on Twitter either, but if I do have any important updates I’ll definitely be dropping them there.

I wonder what defines stuff like “female-presenting nipples”...

Is showing as much boob as you want okay? Is areola okay? Nipples through clothes? What if we just photoshopped a man’s nipples over a woman’s nipples? What about if a trans person started posting daily images of themself beginning their transition as their breasts changed - if they allowed that would it be considered transphobic? To what extent can you post male nipples? Is hardcore sweaty muscle bara men with rock hard nipples in your face considered okay? What if we just slapped a poorly photoshopped baby next to a topless woman and said “oh the context is breast feeding a child”, is that okay?

Quite frankly, I consider this very fucking sexist.
