“I should ban beverages in my library.”
Would you rather students drooling on your texts for lack of caffeine?
“Saliva doth not ruin the pages so easily.”
“I should ban beverages in my library.”
Some specimens from the gem and mineral show
Alright!
So, m’family’s apparently not from Loc Lac, but they’re actually from a place called Cathar. ‘s a city in the sky where wyverians live. ‘s a reaaal nice place from what’ve heard! But, yea’! ‘s where th’rest of m’family’s from, apparantly!
M’mom and m’dad moved t’Loc Lac’r somethin’, I guess.
At some point Seath had waved over one of his channelers, and the being stood proudly beside the massive dragon while its dominant hand was busy copying down Kyoki’s words into an open tome of mostly blank pages. The librarian himself was listening intently, though he had a difficult time piecing the wyverian’s words together as her speech patterns differed so greatly from what the dragon was used to.
“How dost thy people traverseth to this sky city? Surely they needeth flight or teleportation.”
Alexis Arnold - Crystallized Books
“I don’t know.”
“I am not a peruser of non-humanoidial knowledge.”
“I understand. Apologies for my questioning. I was merely curious to see if thou had more data than mineself.”
“I’ve read of them.”
“…They’re not my field of study, so my interest ends there. Surely you could simply look them up, as the librarian?”
“That I have done. Perhaps I was unclear: I meant to question what other type of beast thou might have thought me be?”
“Verval.”
“A dragon…? I suppose that explains your appearance.”
“Verval. Art there some other glorious and powerful beings similar to mineself within this world? I know of the dragons here, and of how puny and pathetic they art, but nonetheless, they art similar.”
"I do already. It seems I need to wash my hands even more.”
"…You are the librarian, I presume?"
“That I am. Seath is Scaleless, last of the dragons of Lordran.”
“And thou, student? What shall I call thee?”
So! I found out some interestin’ stuff ‘bout m’family history.
“I would listen.”
Mirrored Hall of Diamonds (Talar Almas) of Golestan Royal Palace Tehran, Iran was built under Qajar patronage and rebuilt in the middle of the nineteenth century.
Studies (OpenRp)
Tetsuya decided he should take time to study for his classes since he had wasted time trying to get these stitches off to no avail. He wore his jacket as normal as he went into the library. He got some books on the skeletal system and general forensics off the shelf. He chose to sit at a round table in the middle of the library as he cracked open the book and started reading.
The quiet clinking of crystals tapping against one another sounded out in the rather desolate library, coupled only with the sound of muffled footsteps upon a different floor of the building. Seath's tails propelled him forward as they slid along the tiles of the spacious first floor, and though his head would not turn to acknowledge the studying student, he would murmur, "It art quite an odd time to findeth one other than mineself here."
"That could be from the corpses I was handling."
"Do you always interrupt musings and soliloquies?"
"It art difficult for me to not overhear the murmurs of others."
"Thou best keepest that scent under control. A familiar stench to me, but an unsettling one to others."
"Hm."
"Alive or dead - alive or dead…? That is the question I must ask."
"Thou smellest of undeath."
" Your nose doesn’t lie, that’s for sure. "
"My senses doth not betrayeth me often. Now beest careful with that beverage. Destroyest one of my tomes and thou shalt writeth me a new one."
