Was playing around in DesktopTale a bit

I fixed my sprites (the Taru sprites, the Flowey sprites are built into the program) because the design was outdated and also my tail was too short in some of the flying sprites xd

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I could just mod the game to let me be there, but I'm not that skilled. I can just make sprites, which is okay, too. Maybe if I learn to code and stuff one day I can make a little personal game for myself with the sprites (although I'd probably make like a visual novel type game instead).

After kinda sad post, I decided to read through some of the things I've written, so here's some of them.

Lick

Flowey: Taru.

Taru looks at Flowey with their head slightly tilted up.

Flowey: Don’t do it.

Taru licks his face.

Flowey: Ughh, why are you like this?

Taru: Because it's funny.

Flowey: Whatever... NO not again-! ​

Tired Dragon

Taru yawned again.

"Sleepy, huh?" Flowey asked.

"Yeah... tired." They leaned their head against his for a moment.

Flowey wrapped his vines around them. "A tired dragon needs their sleep." He stroked their head. They closed their eyes, making a sound akin to purring as he continued to stroke their head.​

Another Sick Day

Taru was sitting in their and Flowey’s room. These blankets and pillows were comfy. Unfortunately, they weren't feeling too well, but at least they could lie down here.

Flowey popped out of the ground. He looked around, seeing Taru beginning to lay down on the blankets and pillows. He quickly burrowed over to them.

"Hmm? Oh, hey, Flowey. Nice to see you."'

The golden flower titled his head a little to the side. A vine touched their head. "Are you sick?"

"A little. Just the usual, you know how it is, especially with how weird the weather is all the time."

Flowey didn't say anything. He pulled them closer with some vines.

"Hm?"

"You'll feel better soon." Flowey said, stroking their ears.

They purred for a moment. "I hope so."

"Need anything?"

"Don't think so. Just feel not great, you know?"

"Guess you're staying in this vine cocoon then."

Don't know if this is just a me thing, but sometimes after daydreaming and being in my head for a while, when I look at what's around me it's really weird how it's not cartoony. Everything in my inner space is cartoony, why is this not cartoony?

Probably just a me thing.

Ohhhh mmmm, I just happened to come across your post, and ahhhh, I have to say, your yumeship content genuinely caught my attention! 😊✨ There was something so lovely and interesting about it that made me want to learn more.

If you’re comfortable with sharing, I would absolutely love to hear more about your original character and the fictional other (F/O) they’re paired with. Yeeee, I’m really curious about who they are, what makes their bond special, and how their relationship has developed.

Sure, I can talk about stuff, I would just like to make a few corrections if you don't mind. I'm not really comfortable with the term "yumeship" and prefer my relationship be labeled as a queerplatonic relationship, an alterous relationship or a ficto relationship. I am fictoalterous and do not really consider myself to be a "yumeshipper" but I suppose I'm neutral on selfshipper. I'm also not sure I'd really label my art as "content" quite? I just like drawing us... we're in a relationship and I just happen to like sharing some art I made of us sometimes, content implies (to me) that I make it for someone other than myself which I do not. Also Taru isn't an OC actually, they're me. I'm dragonkin and they're my sona (you can find info like that in my pinned as well). I also mainly call Flowey my partner rather than "F/O" personally. I am also nonsharing, we are in an exclusive relationship.

So, hi! I'm Taru! A dragon of cosmic origin, but I grew up on Earth. I refer to my sona in third person sometimes, because that's just how I am, yeah. More info about me, well, I'm kind of anxious, autistic, a bit silly and just like having fun and doing fun things with Flowey! I am agender and use they/them pronouns and I'm aroace, as well as fictoalterous like I mentioned earlier. I like plants, especially flowers, and space. Don't really know what else to say about myself. I've got a bunch of magic I guess?

Flowey is a bit hard to explain since I'm not sure if you're familiar with Undertale or not and I'm bad at explaining, but Flowey (Flowey the Flower) is from Undertale and he is a sapient flower who is a little murdery. He needs a big hug honestly, so I give him one! He has a lot of stuff that happened in his past and we get through it slowly day by day. He's still a little bit murdery, but not as much.

We had a bit of a rough start, but we grew on each other and became friends. And then after being friends for a few years we landed in whatever this mess of a queerplatonic relationship is. We love cuddling and exploring worlds together. Flowey bakes us stuff sometimes and we have a picnic! And maybe stargaze. We're protective of each other and a bit obsessed with one another as well. We love being silly together and causing some mischief on occasion.

I kind of need more specific questions to answer in depth, but I hope these will suffice.
