My name is wyvern! I really like wings of fire, and dragons in general. my connection to dragons runs deep

I was a Wings of Fire kid in middle school, who is now trying to return to his roots and refresh his childhood love for dragons. Im rereading the books now!

I needed a place to rant about wof, so this is my outlet. ill be blogging about dragonkin stuff and wings of fire.

please im not usually this lame the words arent coming out right. I just really like dragons. and I am going to read books about them. please talk with me in replies, I love to hear your ideas and thoughts

what kind of dragon are you?

great question!! honest answer: i dont know.

Im positive its a form of western dragon. but the truth is, im still working on finding that out.

So unfortunately, the only thing I can do to explain this, is through a moodboard ive made of pictures I feel connected to. (against my better judgement, I am cringe sadly, but this is all I got to work with)

Coral is the definition of emotionally absent mother, shes just worried about how she can uphold her regal image, but I think she also wants to FEEL like shes regal and powerful too. So she keeps her kids close to her, but its shallow, and honestly done in vain imo

YES. THIS EXACTLY. That can also be seen in the way she sees death and harm to other dragons in general. Like when her guards came back beaten and bloody, and she didn't react with urgency at all. If one of her dragonets came home like that, like tsunami, she would be more upset about the fact that someone tried to kill her kid, rather than if tsunami was okay. (Which. Did happen in book 2.)

I have such complicated feelings about Coral?? Does she even care about tsunami? I cant tell. She clearly has some worry about other dragons KILLING her dragonets, but it feels more like a "Who dares kill my dragonets in my own kingdom" rather than a "are my dragonets okay" thing. Its like shes an absent mother, but simultaneously around 24/7. Emotionally absent? Is that what youd call it?

Something about her feels weird. (I have not finished book two)
