Religious Imagery In Stories

I like to reference religion from time to time in my works. Favor For A Favor had more than a few allusions to Christianity. Writing about religion always gets people talking (which can be both good and bad I suppose). You know when penning a story centered around faith, at least a few people are going to be offended, a few more pseudo-intellectual bible scholars are going to tell you why you’re full of shit, and a few more people are going to praise you for taking a chance on tackling the material.

It’s religion. It’s taboo. It’s offensive.

But you know what? If your horror isn’t offending somebody then you’re probably doing it wrong.
