She secretly harbors feelings from their younger days, adding tension and depth to their dynamic. She created the AI, Gadget Bandicoot, who eventually betrays her by joining Crash’s team, leading to the destruction of her lab and machines. The explosion, from the betrayal, leaves her bald and homeless, forcing her to work closely with Neo Cortex again, now with a secret romantic relationship.
