Gray returned his feelings by kissing the scientist passionately, holding her face with both his hands as he did so. After a few moments, he pulled away. "-Scarlet, my heart, my soul, all belongs to ya'. I love ya' with all of my being." Gray sincerely told the monster.

Love, something she hadn’t expected to feel in such a long while. Her heart panged with emotion.  The fish monster relaxed into his kiss as tears of joy flooded from her eyes.  “I trust you wholeheartedly, Gray. I will love in you return with all that I am.”

"Dunno how ya' did it but ya' snatched my heart, Scarlet." Gray told in a casual manner, "I've never been good with confessions, Doc' so actions speak louder than words so." Gray then proceeded punch a hole in his chest and pulled out a piece of paper of his chest. The paper basically read "This is a deed to this Gray face's heart, the one who holds this deed holds ownership of said individual's heart". "Would give ya' my actual heart, but here's the deed, instead." Gray told.

Scarlet, was always happy to see Gray pop by her lab. It was one of the few visits she truly treasured.  Though, the scientist wasn’t prepared for what was about to happen next.  Though, the surprise was something she had always dreamed of.  Her heart felt light, and her cheekbones flushed a bright red at his confession.  She didn’t say anything at first, though her actions did speak louder than words as she approached him and gently took the deed.

“I’m not the best at saying how, I feel either. However, you’re someone special to me and you have my devotion and I... “I love you.”

She leaned in and kissed him gently before embracing him.
