One month ago,
I was still job searching.

A piece to remind: Cherish
Received a saddening news in the morning in a whatsapp high school group chat. Our form 3 (year 9) history teacher passed away because of cancer.
Makes me realise how things could change so much in just a few years, that you can't predict what's going to happen in the near future.
5 years ago when she was our teacher, she was still in the pink of health, literally, I could still remember her pinky cheeks.
Makes me realise how a person's health and overall condition could have such a sharp turn in merely just a handful of years
Makes me think of, how fragile life is. How unpredictable life can be. How volatile happiness could be.
Reminds me to cherish time, to spend more quality time, to give in more, to give more effort, to be involved, to bond, to make wonderful memories, together. Together, with the ones who matters most.
Make your loved ones, one of the most major part of your life, and keep the amount of major things in your life minimal. Like a cake, the smaller the portion to divide, the larger each portion could be. My loved ones deserve more.

Tomorrow is a new beginning, and I'm going to reset my life with this new mindset.
