“The Joys of Painting with Catfood: Episode 1, Tuna”
Botany and Cool Shit: Trachyandra
No, you’re not in the Celtic Otherworld, the Emerald Dream, or Wonderland. These little shits actually exist!
The genus Trachyandra is native to Eastern, Southern, and Southeastern Africa as well as Madagascar and up to Yemen. Their “weed smoke drifting in the breeze” appearance is an adaptation to the hot, dry regions they call home.
Many species are propagated and sold as houseplants, but it’s still a pretty rare find in US markets.
Remember to follow my blog if you want more bizarre, freaky and unusual plants, or if you want ideas for a sustainable lifestyle to adopt before we crash and burn our entire planet! =D
Not my images by the way.
P.S. Put this shit on your kitchen table to remind yourself of that time you tried shrooms or went on a spiritual journey to commune with nature!
One of the bunnies I rescued now lives in my yard and I feed him fresh fruit and vegetables every day. Pears are his favorite. His name is Bunnito and we're friends. He let's me get pretty close. We hang out a lot while I garden. Maybe one day I'll get to hold him again.
Hope the thick texture doesn't crack as it dries
