Heard these guys play earlier this year at Big Day Out in Perth...It was love at first lyric...sigh... Band of Horses - The Funeral [OFFICIAL VIDEO] (by subpoprecords)
Absolutely Gorgeous Really want to visit Italy some time in the near future...Stunning. sourced: befree-abdou:
Seaside, Amalfi Coast, Italy
Each of the individual members of Perth, Australia’s, the Growl have been in a number of bands in that are part of that city’s musical community — for example, lead singer Cameron Avery is the drummer for Pond, a local act there that has been getting quite a bit of attention.
The Growl on the other hand have been gaining a lot of attention internationally as they’ve spent the early part of this year touring with fellow Perth-based Tame Impala across North America. “Liarbird,” is the latest single from the band, and the track’s bluesy feel will probably remind quite a number of readers of the Black Keys, in particular.
Easter Camping
As per usual when I spend easter with my mum and her man, we head down to their property along the creek with a bunch of family friends and go camping over the long weekend. I love it here! Riding dirt bikes and drinking cider, watching the kids cook marsh-mellows and boat cruises along the creek, enjoying the scenery and the good company. This year I didn't get to spend as much time here due to the stupid amount of uni work I have now that i'm studying, but below are a few of my favourite photos t I snapped from last years camping expedition, back when I had a life... Dingy Creek side by sun-set...I love this pic...the tree is covered in spider webs, and as the sun sets and it gets cold, they capture tiny droplets of moisture from the air, which creates this stunning effect when the sun hits the tree at just the right time..the photo does it no justice at all! Patterson's Curse...Such a beautiful weed!
Bob Segar - Old Time Rock N' Roll One of my all time favourite tunes ever! Never fails to get me pumped for any occasion. This song just makes me happy!
When I was five years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I wrote down "happy". They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life.

Walt Disney vs Marvel
Interesting Infographic...and...well...I just cant go pass anything Marvel...or a Spidy-Mouse either for that matter! I adore the colour and sharp graphics that are used here.
Slipknot - Vermillion Pt. 2 (by slipknot) Devastating. Many people believe this song is written about an un-requited or fictional love. Whilst another opinion is that the song was written about Corey's wife, who died of cancer in 2005, how ever, this theory has flaws, due to the fact that the song was originally released in 2004...may have to look into this more. Fact remains, still brings me close to tears every time I hear it.
Reminds me of the bar we found at the Chatuchak Weekend Markets in Bangkok! DJ Dain Dont Worry, Be Happy
The Anatomy of a Web Designer
Cool data visualisation by Heart Internet. Really love the illustration and layout of this. After studying the results of our online survey (conducted amongst 500 web designers onDesignShack.net), we decided to put the key findings into an infographic so that people could see for themselves what web designers think about their industry.
Over Seas Adventure; Part 1-Bangkok, Thailand
Last year my favourite Irish and I went off exploring for two months. We started in Thailand, then I made my way over to London, whilst my friend visited her family in Ireland. I then joined her in Ireland for a couple of weeks before we went on to New York City and finally, Mexico. Thailand was amazing! So much contrast with in this country, from beautiful beaches to gorgeous rain forests across mountains, small country towns and and large noisy, some times smelly, fast paced cities. After 10 hrs of flying, we arrived in Bangkok. We were here only for a couple of days. The first day we spent walking the streets and exploring our surroundings. Our hostel was a little out of the way, so I feel we got to experience Bangkok from a non tourist point of view. How ever, english was not commonly known and this presented a bit of a problem when it came to trying to sort out Thailand sim cards for our phone, or when we got our selves a little lost! Streets of Bangkok We spent a lot of time walking and catching trains and Tuk Tuks around Bangkok, But my favourite place in Bangkok that we found were the Chatuchak Weekend Market. With over 5000 stalls, it is the worlds largest weekend market! You could buy just about anything here, and for really good prices, if you know how to barter well. My friend and I caught the train here, then a tuk-tuk. We spent hours wondering around the stalls and stopping at little food places with great live acoustics (heard the best acoustic cover of Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" at one such place!) before we decided that it was time for our first cocktail to celebrate our holidays. We came across this brilliant little bar tent, that was made up of all these contrasting things that just seemed to fit together to create a unique and funky look. Interesting chandeliers and funky prints on fabric roofs Check out the CD collectection behind the DJ there to the left! Singapore Slingshots and Vodka Lemonades A DJ mixed RnB tunes with Reggae beats which made for a mellow atmosphere. I fell in love with this little bar and didn't want to leave! Which was just as well... because minutes after suggesting we stay for a third cocktail, it started to pour! What was a perfectly clear and warm day had quickly changed into a humid and wet one! Animal skin covers on the bar stools, rich woods and vibrant flower arrangements.
Head. Wrecked...Help?
Trying to teach my self HTML and CSS for days now...so many online tutes and I just cant seem to get mine to work!! All I want is a pretty and uniformed "about" page for my blog...I'm missing something that makes it all work. I know what I want, I just don't know how to how to make it happen! Any thoughts or ideas?? Entirely. Frustrated.
Love the colours and line work in this...wishing I had more time to draw! (source: smooth: via Fezat. MinTape by ~ScorpionBlaze)
The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.
Bob Marley
Naww hell...think I may have just gone and fallen in love! No Digitty by Black Street ft. Dr Dre would have to be one of my favourite songs, never get tired of listening to it! And whilst Im a fan of Macklemore, Thrift shop wouldn't even make my top 5...But Ed Sheeran & Passenger had me grinning from ear to ear when I first heard this :D Ed Sheeran & Passenger - No Diggity Vs. I noticed quite a few people identified with my two previous analogies about inattentiveness and forgetfulness, which are really less inattention and forgetfulness and more like your brain simply not recording information traditionally.
Today I have another analogy about how people with ADHD...
