Today I went on my first adventure to find somewhere beautiful to photograph in Britain!
I’m a complete newbie to photography, using an iPhone 7 to start out, and will hopefully build up a really good kit with your help!
I live in the centre of Britain so I am lucky in that I can travel in any direction and almost definitely find somewhere beautiful to photograph.
Today I chose I Peak District. One of the most central areas in Britain and one of the most beautiful and vast in size!
I narrowed it down to Hope Valley and The Ladybower Reservoir. Such beautiful areas to drive and walk through. One I hope to come back to soon!
Such beautiful photo opportunities, with lovely villages that surround the area!
Cannot wait until I can take photographs full time! Makes me sad to go back to the beige walls of the office tomorrow morning!
There are a few tips I can share from my very first trip, which I hope can help any newbie like me!
-Turn HDR on, on your iPhone! It stands for High Dynamic Range. This means that it takes multiple shots at different levels of exposure and combines them to create one photo that is perfectly exposed!
-Take multiple shots, you can do this by holding down on the camera button! This is so you can take many shots that will be of slightly different focuses, so you can narrow it down to your perfect photo.
-Use the grid to try and line up your perfect landscape photo!
If you have any tips for me please shout!
