sofia bianco grew up in a poor neighborhood in milan, italy. her mother was a dressmaker and her dad worked three jobs to be able to provide for his family of eight. so, her upbringing wasn’t glamorous by any means. they went without a lot and her parents had to sacrifice a lot for their children, but the fact they didn’t have much didn’t stop them from having a pleasant, happy childhood.

at the age of 14, sofia was scouted by a modeling agent. they sent her off to a few castings, and at first she didn’t think anything was going to come of it, but before she knew it, she was getting booked and she was travelling all over europe to do shoots and runway shows. it all happened so fast, she needed time to process it.

along the way, she got into acting classes after showing a keen interest in it. she’d always dreamed of being an actress, having a chance to morph into a completely different character. 

by the age of 22, sofia was named one of the top models in the world. she’s one of the most recognised models, and that opened up more opportunities for her in a professional aspect.

in the last 5 years, she is seen more on the big screen than on the runway, she considers acting her “passion” and modeling more of a hobby, but she appreciates how it opened the door for her.

when it comes to sofia’s personal life, she has only been in a few public relationships. her last serious relationship ended three years ago, and she didn’t date for a while until she began seeing one of her directors, who happened to be married at the time. he left his wife for her when he found out sofia was pregnant. she terminated the pregnancy.

maybe     it     was     the liquor running     through     her     veins,     but     in     that     moment,  sofia     felt relaxed,     not     worrying     about     what     was     ahead.     usually,     she     was     someone     who     worried. a     lot.     though,     as     of     late,     she     felt secure and safe.
