These chandeliers… why… why do they exist ?
Were they a test from the god of layout himself to test my faith in 2D Layouts ?
…Well I hope I passed.

BG Layouts for ”Rising of the Shield Hero” #1 (“盾の勇者の成り上がり”), the character posings are from the animators’ ichigens.
These layouts are all drawn using Photoshop only, with a heavy use of smarts objects, because eh, we’re smart.
Except we had 300 shots of this same room.
So it occured to me midway that, maybe, it would have been smarter to just model it in 3D...
I will definitely try this next time.
I also helped out a bit on animation on this project. Mostly character animation, up to tie-down.
For these layouts I did the values myself, as a way to practice. Nothing crazy, just more readable overall… I hope ?
Layouts for League of Legends shorts. I was doing line art only, my teamates helped me out and put some values to make it readable. It was a very effective teamwork !
It was supposed to be for a rap music clip but... can’t beat Eurobeat when it comes to car chases soundtracks. FX I animated for “Gotham city” clip for Booba.
Layouts for FLCL Progressive #06. Damn that was a lot of rails...
Layouts for FLCL Progressive #05. I sure hope Koh Yoshinari liked my layout... his animation on this shot is amazing, as usual.
Layouts for FLCL Progressive #05
Another production layout for Macross Delta, episode 26 this time. Took me a while to finish this one...
Real production layout I made for Macross Delta series, episode 24.
Another exercise at Satelight, aimed to help me with design and planning my layout efficiently.
Props design exercise I did during my internship at Satelight. It was supposed to be a bomb but... I guess it doesn’t really look like one. At least it looks cool, in my opinion. That’s definitely the most important.
And I learned to use Google SketchUp, always useful.
Layout I made for a test, for a japanese animation studio called Satelight. I had one day to draw each of them.
This excentric character animation of Usagi is the amazing work of Arina Korczynski, my teammate for this project. I simply had to add some fire here and there to reveal Usagi’s true potential.
Usagi, the over-excited rabbit, was modeled, rigged, textured (and even voiced), by me. Some classmates say she’s a lot like me: looking cute but secretly planning on destroying this planet and take over a few galaxies.
They have no idea.
King Jean-Eude (the monkey) and Soon-to-be Sultan Jafar discussing politics.
Rough pass, Tie-down, clean and colored stage of my 2D animation, for a school exercise. 3D animation was straight-ahead, so of course there is no process to show. Composited using some After effects basic tricks.
