But I also heard they can be DEVOTED & DEPENDABLE. If you dare I hear they frequent UNBOUND INK in their spare time when they aren’t being a STREET PHARMACIST (KRYSHAS). Nikhil Grigory Volkov (thirty years old. cismale. he/him) was born and raised in Russia to Grigory Volkov (Vasile). HIS OLDER SISTER, NADYA, is one year his senior.
Though Nikhil was born a Vasile, when he relocated to Chicago to work along side his father, he’d also keep the name ‘Volkov’.
Despite being the second born, he was Grigory’s first son. He’d been constantly doted on by his father, even though he had no interest in following in his footsteps. Nadya had always been the one who was 'kak papa’. It… created some friction between the two.
Growing up, Nikhil and Nadya were frequently referred to as 'the twins’, WHICH THEY HATE.
Nikhil is a drug dealer STREET PHARMACIST. He’ll peddle to just about anybody who has the cash… and takes care of those who don’t pony up, himself.
For a long while he worked for the O'SHEA’S, before the Vasile uprising. For a time, he was moving the most product, and has access to a vast majority of their contacts. AFTER THE VASILE’S FLIPPED, Nik followed, and took as many of those contacts with him as he could.
PERSONALITY WISE
Nikhil is uber SUPERFICIAL. He has no interest in spending his time with anyone who doesn’t look like they give a shit about life. The man enjoys the finer things in life and has NO PROBLEM indulging in them.
He can be COCKY, and at times CONDESCENDING. This has a lot to do with his upbringing. His father taught him not to get close to people. The easiest way to do that, was to repel them.
Even though he projects a bit of an attitude, he doesn’t act this way toward his superiors. He’s a DEVOTED Vasile, and he’s DEPENDABLE to boot.
( tw: homophobia implied ) Canonically, Nikhil is not-so-obviously PAN-SEXUAL. His father hit almost every Russian stereotype right on the head. Definitely would not have been okay with his son being anything but straight. So he’s stayed quiet about it for a long time, and struggles with it, even now.
