as a dark urge fan du x gortash is such a weird thing for me bc like. don't get me wrong they absolutely had some kind of close relationship. but also I think it's so painfully clear that gortash would've been abusive to the dark urge and all the du x gortash content I see acts like gortash was some kinda perfect husband. babe he worships the god of tyranny and sees everyone as below him. do you seriously think the dark urge is exempt from that

Shoutouts to the time I had a severe fever and took benedryl and wanted to listen to feel good inc but couldn’t remember the name. I think I was crying over this

#I take benadryl for sleep and I've had this exact thing happen to me just like. I didn't text anyone about it and went insane instead 😭#from what I remember 'feel good inc' was so confusing in that moment because I could only remember the lyrics from that 'windmill windmill #for the land' portion #and it's so confusing in particular because the lyricism contrasts with the rest of the song. so like you can't remember the title #bc you can't remember the lyrics with the title in them #and even worse is like. that stanza is phrased like a prayer almost. so it's really hard to recognize 'feel good inc' or 'gorillaz' when you #have the lyrics to an unfamiliar prayer stuck in your head #I feel like that song is just incredibly confusing for the way that benadryl gets you high

I keep getting a glitch where all the ads on my dash start out rapidly flashing. I'm not epileptic but like this is hell 😭 really hope that this is somehow a glitch solely contained within my phone and no photosensitive epileptics are getting this too

if you illegally download all of your music and then buy like 2 albums from smaller or independent bands you’ve likely already done more to pay musicians than a year of spotify streaming. just pirate everything and send some walking around money to a couple artists you like. they’re probably on bandcamp, wait till a bandcamp friday. spotify hates you anyways.

#btw youtube has lectures on nearly everything. whether from colleges or ap study playlists or just people passionately explaining #their field of study #CrashCourse has playlists on a ton of topics. lately I've been really into the revamped biology course #with Dr. Samuel Ramsey (or dr. sammy) as the host. like they actually get individual doctors of their fields to host the series now #Lindsay Nikole is a zoologist who also has a ton of videos on anthropology (I love her ghost hominins video)#Miniminuteman (or milo) is an archaeology educator who also has amazing videos about conspiracy theories (commonly pseudoarchaeology)#and talks about how those conspiracy theories often show racist biases. and also just how they're used to push scams #also pbs studios has a ton of educational channels. I don't watch them too often but they cover a lot of fields #and ofc all the 'mit posts its courses online' stuff but I usually find those videos more boring and hard to finish tbh #I find it's nice to just. replace random background videos with these things. bc anything I retain from them is more useful than #drama videos or something
