The fact that this is 80 fucking years ago but still just as relevant is terrifying.
The only reason we used to make these films is because 80 years ago fascism was threat to the continuation of business and trade. Now the rich think fascism is the only way they can keep their wealth. Don’t let stuff like this trick you into think things have changed. The Rich’s opinion on fascism determines how the government treats it, not “morality.” That does not exist in government or business.
