Quinn didn’t want to be here. Her parents were convinced there was something wrong with her. She was no longer their docile little girl who was quiet and obedient. She wasn’t a complete rebel either though. She was branching out and trying new things, and her family didn’t exactly agree. Her parents were determined to get these bad thoughts out of her head, and wanted their little girl back. “It’s for the best, Quinnie.” Her mother would say and Quinn always tried to protest. “But I’m okay, Mom. I can try to be better, I promise I’m okay.” But that didn’t always worked. Her grades slipped, her exercise slipped, and her parents concern only grew.
Her protests clearly hadn’t worked, as they had seeked outside help. Their claims of Quinn not being herself and them being worried for her safety, had led them to Will Schuester. He was a well known therapist and had a high success rate. Her parents raved about him and told Quinn all about how comfortable her new room would be, and that they knew all about her fears and would help her feel better. Quinn still didn’t want to be here. She didn’t want to be in some facility, taking some medication and finding herself numb. She wanted to be human. She knew she was struggling, but she wanted to fix it herself. That wasn’t an option though.
Her father helped her out of the car, as the driver got her bag from the trunk of the car. Quinn’s bottom lip quivered and she clung to his hand tightly, staring at the building in front of them. Her mother came around, fussing at her braid and tugging at her dress, making sure the summer dress sat right. “It will be alright, Quinnie. We just want our little girl back and he can help you.” Her mother soothed, and Quinn just stared at the building, a tear falling, taking a shaky breath. She had her favorite blanket in her bag, and some of her favourite books. Her parents had talked to Will about how she’d be treated..and he honestly sounded nice. Talks around her general anxiety, which is why she was really coming in. Her fears of weight and small spaces had also been mentioned, and her parents had really tried to find someone good for her. “Come on, Princess.” Her father guided her towards the steps and Quinn just trembled against him. “Please, Daddy. M-Maybe I’ll get better at home.”
Will Schuester was waiting for a new patient of his to arrive to his facility. It was set in a semi large white manor house surrounded by gardens, woods and a stream. From the outside it had a calming presense among those who visited, but in reality it was a place for him to give punnishments to those who won’t conform to his ways and his beliefs. Well some of his beliefs, most of the time it was just words and he didn’t think they were true. It was just a good way to have people become submissive.
According to her parents, this new girl was a slight troublemaker with grades slipping, who had also been not keeping up with healthy eating and regular exercise. This meant she was getting a bit of a belly, chubby thighs and in general her body was getting rounder and thicker. A thing which was not good. Apparently there was also a history of mental health issues in the family, which Will said he would explore with Quinn and she may be medicated. The family had already signed documents giving him full control of her medication and other things which was appropriate for treatment needed.
Looking out the window he saw the girl had arrived with her parents and smiled at what was to come. He looked over at her fears, phobias and triggers which the family had sent over and put it back on his desk. Well this would be fun to work with. Wearing tight leather trousers and a black shirt he looked intimidating, but it was needed. He walked down to reception where a hospital bed was waiting. He had informed the parents of this saying it was protocol for new patients. Quinn would obviously be scared, but if she had been told what would happen then she wouldn’t have come.
Will opened the door to the entrance and welcomed Quinn and her father. From the sound of it Quinn was being a whiny bitch and trying to get out of it. “Good morning Mr Fabray, i’m Will Schuester and I will be treating your daughter until further notice. I’m afraid you will need to say your goodbyes now as I don’t want to upset her any further than she already is. Patients like her can be prone to outbursts.“ Will gave Quinn a warm creepy smile and took her hand so that she wouldn’t leave. “Quinn you will need to go and lay down on the hospital bed that has been provided for you in reception. It is health and safety.“
