I guess there were a few delusionals left that stayed till the very end. For what? I have no f’kn idea cuz they couldn’t have thought the ending was gonna be anything other than what it was, WA being endgame. They didn’t even have Caitlin in the f’kn season until the last episode, that’s how important that character was to the show. She was gone all but the last 15 minutes of the final season. Instead we got yet another version of her character taking up space and screen time which made absolutely no f’kn sense that we had to endure all season but it’s what the delusionals deserve. That’s what happens when you don’t properly advocate for your “fav”. That’s what happens when you don’t focus on what’s actually happening right in front of your eyes but instead spin this magical tale in your head about this SB nonsense. It’s what you deserve, to be shown just how insignificant that character was in the grand scheme of things. Yes of course Barry cared about her, he’s not a heartless monster. They’ve been through a lot as a team together, that’s gonna forge a special bond between friends but that’s where it started and ended for Barry. Ngl I’ve had very minimal dealings with these people in the last few seasons and that was very much intentional. So you go on believing that the person that can’t act or emote for shit was supposed to be the endgame. You go on believing there was all this great chemistry. You go on believing whatever the hell you want to believe. Got one question tho. What’s canon?… Thought so

It’s been a minute since I’ve said anything about the Flash but this last episode inspired me. I really enjoyed this episode. The nostalgia of it alone was top notch. Knowing that it’s the Barry we know now being that future Barry from S1 is just amazing. He’s come such a long way. How they went about telling the story of how that day went down had me in the feels. Knowing that the future Barry we saw in that scene from S1 was married to Iris and was about to be a father 🥹. I gotta go back and watch that S1 scene again, it hits different now. I look at that S1 Barry and think if only he knew the mad, crazy twists and turns his life would take. That the future him he was looking at was married to Iris and about to be a father for the first time. That he finally gotten that much needed closure regarding his parents as he becomes a father himself. I like that we got the answer to the question of what happened to Barry after he got his younger self out of the house. Whatever happens going forward, this episode really did have me excited about what’s to come. Also, seeing Iris 9 months pregnant was so beautiful. She looked beautiful 😍. Knowing that they are on the verge of finally officially bringing Nora into the world. Her finally getting her Pulitzer. Just so many great moments with my two fav characters. Of course we can’t forget either the return of Eddie or some version of him. I’m hoping it’s actually our Eddie but with memory loss due to being sucked into the singularity. That would make for another great full circle, closure type moment. Just like there was a part of Barry that needed closure about his parents, maybe there’s also a part that needs closure regarding Eddie. Look forward to seeing what’s next

I thought about just pretending episode 6 didn’t happen and just moving on but there were a couple of cute WA scenes so I’ll at least acknowledge that. Other than that I’m not gonna waste time talking about this episode. I think I’ve made my feelings clear about certain characters so I’m moving on to episode 7.

Hmmm… what do I say about episode 5. This is one of the few episodes in recent memory that I’ve been at a loss for words. Even after taking some time, it’s hard for me to put my thoughts tog but I’ll try. This episode was all over the place and most of the time not in a good way. I felt like Red Death was sooo underdeveloped. How are you gonna be called Red Death but there’s no deaths? Still unclear on the why of it all. Btw, where’s her Sophie? Joe/Cecile storyline and decision didn’t make any sense. I understand JLM was only available in a limited role but there’s gotta be a better way to write him off without making Cecile look like an absent parent or choosing TF over raising her young daughter. Is it really that serious? The show hasn’t shown me that Cecile is that important to the team to where she needs to be separated from her family. She’s not needed that much. If she’s needed, Barry can fathoom to get her. We knew CB wasn’t dead because the actor is a regular so no surprise there. Chester and Allegra was a skip so other than knowing they kissed again, I don’t know what they were about. I’m guessing and hoping no longer acting like middle schoolers. The Rogues that we got were so blah. I guess towards the end of the episode, I was just happy to see that Iris was finally pregnant and we can move forward with that. Sure a more private moment when they found out would’ve been my choice but who am I. I guess they went about the reveal in a more comic booky way since ultimately this is a comic book show so I’m just moving on. So Khione is one with the circle of life, got it

Well ep 2 wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be but I’m ngl I can’t take DP’s new character seriously. The whole time I’m watching this new character, I just want to laugh at the absurdity of it all. DP couldn’t bow out like CV and TC did when their characters were spinning their wheels on the show, instead we keep getting these rebooted versions of the Caitlin character. Lets be honest, Caitlin became irrelevant after season 3. Look at what Snow says in this ep in response to them needing a dr, they don’t. Barry can self heal & they have Gideon. I laugh because Caitlin “fans” got one of the most uninspiring deaths of an original character I’ve ever seen. She died how she lived, with little to no fanfare. Then we have the team at the end basically saying oh well she made her choice, bye Felicia. They did more mourning for Frost. What saved this ep was WA. That club scene at the end was sweet & hilarious. Seeing WA out and about, having fun is so refreshing to see. Barry and his goofy behind is so adorable. Love how they are showing WA as a united front so far this season. Needing that to continue

I have always thought too that Caitlin character fell after season 3. She's just had so many retcons about the Killer Frost situation that her character became boring to follow for me cause I couldn't stop thinking of they would make a new retcon and cause the characters related to Frost, aka Amunet and Chillblaine, were just meh. I have always thought I would have liked Caitlin to fully turn into KF (without KF being a second identity, just her alias) but maybe be one of those villains that help the heroes when the situation calls for it, and maybe she could come back to their side in the end, who knows?

It's sad what happened to her character, because if she is really dead and never comes back it'd be like "... that's it?", and if she comes back we would have lost a lot of time in a character that won't matter in the end...

Hopefully the rest of the characters will have better endings. Especially WestAllen, they deserve it ❤️⚡️💜

I don’t mind at all. You made some great points on what they could’ve done with the Caitlin character that could’ve been far more interesting than what they ended up doing. After all the retcons you just start to not care about the character because there’s no real commitment to anything by the show. We got very little development of the Caitlin character in 9 seasons. That’s sad. And yes whether she comes back or not, it’s bad either way because either we wasted time getting to know this new character all season only for Caitlin to come back in the end or Caitlin doesn’t come back and her death was uninspiring. I’m not a fan of the character so, for me, I just find it irritating that she sucked up so much screen time for what ended up being a whole bunch of nothing
