It was the second day of Maddie's new high school, she had been ecstatic ever since she met Steven. Maddie skipped towards the school gates excited to see what today brings, she walks past the kid she recalls from yesterday, the one with blue hair. She hears snickers as she passes the boy with blue hair and his friends but she chooses not to think anything of it. To Maddie's excitement she see's Steven waiting by the lockers, Steven notices her "Hey it's my locker thief!" Steven says mockingly. Maddie blushes "H-hey..It wasn't my fault the numbers could be read both ways.." Maddie says while nervously looking at the gum littered concrete.
The bell echos through the school "Well it's time for you to go to class" Steven teases while patting Maddie on the head. Maddie smacks Stevens hand away from her head "Y-you have to go to class too.." Maddie states. Steven chuckles "That's true, I better get going then" he says smiling.
Maddie had art today which was her favourite subject, she quickly made her way to class. As she arrived the class was nearly full, she had got there late, the only seat left was one next the blue haired boy. She quickly sat down next to the boy, the class was learning to do distinct shading with animals. 45 minutes into the lesson Maddie had nearly finished her drawing when she heard a voice behind her. "Wow you have a really cool art style" Maddie turned around but was startled to realize how close the person was behind her, brushing her nose on his check, she jumped back, it was the boy with blue hair, he smiled with a big grin. "My name's Caz". Maddie blushed due to how close he was, she stuttered while looking to the left "M-my name's..M-Maddie". "I know" he replied with a big smile, "How?" Maddie asked "Well when the teacher was calling attendance I remembered your name" he explained. "O-oh." Maddie replied.
The home time bell rang, the class began to pack up, Maddie quickly gathered her things and rushed to her lockers, she had been planning on finishing an animation she had been working for the past week. Maddie was placing all her school gear in her locker when she heard Steven call out to her "Maddie!" he said while running up to her, "Hey I was thinking..since you're new to the school and all, maybe we could hang out this weekend?" Maddie giggled "I don't think that's a reason" Steven stuttered "U-uhh..". "It's okay I'm only kidding, just give your number and I'll text you when we can hang out" she stated. "R-really?! I mean.. *ahem* really?" Steven said in disbelief. Maddie handed her phone to Steven who quickly entered his number into her phone. "Sweet, I'll see you later" Maddie grinned, she skipped away like a little school girl.
