I took these pictures in 2015 and knew these were great photos immediately but could not articulate why exactly.. my eye for critical photo details had not truly developed yet. Now I understand that a beautiful subject, interesting lighting, clear composition are all important details to notice and adjust when taking a picture. I’m not sure if dogs understand what amazing companions they are to us, much less photo subjects.
