I know it was just a throwaway line but like… Imagine if Danny did get Parrish’s storyline. Like he appeared on the deadpool in s4 and was just like “why does the universe hate me” and tries to stay away from the McCall pack BC he really doesn’t wanna get involved, then he gets set on fire and survives. Character development as he realises he can’t stay out of this BC people are dying and agrees to help crack the code and stop the deadpool.

Him and Lydia forming a closer platonic relationship as they were both friends with each other already, Lydia can empathise with the ‘not knowing what you are but knowing you’re something’ and the two try to figure out what Danny is.

Also more Danny and Scott (and pack) interactions. Danny remembering Theo vaguely but when Stiles turns to him for validation that this isn’t Theo Danny is just like… *shrug* ‘I dunno, I didn’t hang out with you guys back then. ’
