WE HAVE A BABY LUMPFISH THIS IS NOT A DRILL WE HAVE A LUMPLING
brain, heart: idiot bitches who never know what they want
stomach, genitals: idiot bitches who know exactly what they want and never shut up about it
lungs, kidneys, liver: pretty chill organs, all told. if these ones are complaining then i'm usually the one who fucked up
i will say that in my experiences at least, flashbacks can be... really weird. because of the whole aphantasia thing i can't 'see' the flashbacks? so i honestly don't know if 'flashback' would be the right word because while i do get the 'back' there's no 'flash' yk? but that's beside the point
even though i can 'hear' memories, that isn't really what happens either, at least for the most part
my brain instead seems to keep track of my memories, both kept and lost, using scent. so a 'flashback' for me usually involves suddenly picking up on a scent that doesn't make sense and isn't identifiable, and it's so strong i can't help but try to hone in on it, and then as soon as i do the memory shit happens and i'm left there like. oh. oh that's how the kitchen smelled that one night my ex-father threatened to commit murder-suicide and leave me as an orphan for dead because my ma wrote in her diary that she wanted to reach out to family services for help. oh alright.
does anyone know what that was. no. ok
on the topic of disabled characters, though, i think a LOT of artists give characters mobility aids that their character wouldn't actually benefit from using.
i'm sort of having a mild brain fog moment rn so i can't fully articulate what i'm on about, but i think a lot of able-bodied artists view things like canes and crutches as interchangeable. and they often don't know enough about the wide range of mobility aids to make an informed decision about what their character might actually use based on their disability
i also think that aids like walkers and rollators are sort of viewed as "cringe" on some level, and many people view them to be "just for old people," so many artists will opt for giving a character who has full-body pain and fatigue a cane (which, in many cases, can potentially WORSEN full-body pain) instead. and a lot of people don't realize that most wheelchair users are able to walk, so they don't consider it an option for characters with chronic pain
idk it's kind of frustrating. i've genuinely never, ever seen a character that uses a rollator before. not once. i cannot name a single one. i know of multiple ocs who are described to have full-body pain, dizziness, and fatigue that are drawn as cane users and are never shown with wheelchairs or walkers, though
it's also sort of sad? i've been diagnosed since i was twelve years old, and i only heard of rollators LAST YEAR. and that was only because i saw one irl and immediately asked what it was. i wonder how many disabled people out there don't even know it's an option solely because they're completely underrepresented online and in media
if you're a creative with a disabled oc, PLEASEEE check out this link. it's a very nice and detailed guide for telling which mobility aids suit someone's needs best. it's incredibly important to make the right choice for your character! mobility aids tell you a LOT about someone's lived experience. picking the right one will communicate to your audience #1 what your character goes through #2 that you UNDERSTAND what your character goes through!
As much as I think it would be fun to have emotive anthropomorphic ears, I also recognize I can barely control my facial expressions. Like hell can I keep from Angry Ears-ing during meetings
This is who you’re having a meeting with, by the way.
whenever you take too much time to write something know it is because stephen king has been stealing your life force
#no it can't be that i'm just not doing enough cocaine

Learning about Rudyknighters still being around after chapter 5 prompted this
my tags keep getting fucked up, so here's a screenshot of what i was TRYING to say:
[deleted all the tags in the reblog itself except stuff for people's blocklists because man. Man. is this stupid website broken]
anyways i still need to get myself some proper formalwear. i already know what i want- a 3-piece suit with a nice bolo tie and one of my diamond-embedded watches (which would need to see the jeweler to be sized correctly for my tiny ass wrists), perhaps with a tailcoat or cape for extra flair- though, i SEVERELY doubt i'd be able to afford to have anything tailored (and resized), especially in time for my graduation, unless i win the lottery or something LOL.
UGH i need money so i can properly get into photography...
This is easily one of the CRAZIEST videos I've ever gotten. I was rafting down a river when a Yellow Jacket came, landed on my bright pink waterproof phone pouch, and started drinking from the water droplets that had gathered there.
The most amazing part is how the water droplet magnifies the Hornet's mouth parts, so you get to see them up-close!!!! It was FASCINATING to witness!
Here's some of my favorite still shots from that video:
What do you think? 🥰

!!!
lizards and snakes could be suited for certain service tasks, especially ones that require scent, thanks to their jacobson's organ
in particular, i feel like training a large lizard to determine it's handler's blood sugar by scent and alert when it's too high/low would be a fantastic idea...
call that a blood glucose monitor.

with chapter 5 weird route i think toby fox has created the closest possible experience to what it must have been like for the guy in ben drowned to play the haunted copy of majora’s mask for the first time
I wish I woke up tomorrow in a world where I don't have to see a single AI generated image ever again
