Now Inspector Barrington, Charlie and Major Grant are helplessly mummified and about to be sealed up alive! Can Carstairs reach them in time to save them?

Ned has been kidnapped and taken by rogue Archaeologist Mortimer Kane. After a series of missadventures, Ned, along with Barrington, Charlie and Major Grant are in a lost city ruled over by an ancient Egyptian high priest in a hidden oasis in the Sahara Desert. Now all four face fiendish perils!

Chapter 26- The Pool of Death!

Rogue Archaeologist Mortimer Kane and his assistant Gerald Steele have kidnapped Ned to aid them in the quest for the Blade of Khanak.

Now, along with Barrington, Charlie and Major Grant of the British Army, all six are now prisoners in a lost Ancient Egyptian city in a hidden oasis in the Sahara.

The ruler of this dominion, The High Priest Ra- Hotep, now has Ned secured on a Alter in the great temple, and with the Blade, now offers up Carstairs as a sacrifice to the Egyptian Crocodile deity Sobek, God of War and Magic.

Is Carstairs doomed?

Carstairs, Barrington, Charlie and Major Grant, along with Kane and Steele have been catured by Mysterious Crocodile masked men after retrieving the mystical knife of Kharnak.

Now sailing in ancient egyptian style barges through an underground river beneath the Sahara Desert, they are being taken to the High Priest of Sakur! What fate awaits our men now?

Deep in the Pyramid of Death, in a rempte part of the Sahara, Carstairs. Barrington, Charlie, Major Grant, Kane and Steele are helpless prisoners of the Crocodile masked men. Now our helpless bound and gagged sextet are poised to thrown to their doom in a pit of Lava!
