The past few months have been good but chaotic. Now that summer is winding down, I am ready to delve into true self care, on all fronts.

Today I will begin to live a healthier life and make myself a priority. I will sleep more. I will disconnect from technology earlier in the evening. And I will drink twice as much water as coffee and wine. Today I will walk at least 7,000 steps and make it a goal to do more every day.

Today will be the day I start a budget that includes paying off my debt and saving to travel. Today is the day I will make my apartment suit me better – I will make it a home.

Today is the day I will move forward on creative projects I am passionate about. And today I will look for places to volunteer some of my time and energy to do my part to brighten this increasingly dimming world.

Today I will do a ritual to let go of my fears, doubts and open myself to possibilities. Today is the day I will no longer live to survive but live to thrive.
