Photos from a trip in Acadia National Park this past weekend camping overnight, exploring the coast, hiking Norumbega Loop Trail, and enjoying being outdoors again.
Here’s a track I’m working on. It’s the start of a project I thought of recently.
‘The Voyager’
It may be an EP depending on how many tracks I can pull together.
It’s only instrumental so far, and I still need to re-record the drums and write the vocals, but I like where it’s headed and I’ve been eager to post my solo music! I write and play all the parts. The drum track is a reference track so that I have something to build off of until I finalize and record an actual drum track live.
Another piece with an enhanced depth of field. I am really drawn to this particular fractal, but once I nail down my workflow/techniques I’ll start exploring different combinations. It’s worth noting that I’m controlling virtually everything. Down to the textures, water, lighting, reflections, depth of field, angle, etc.
Messing around with Depth of Field to focus the eye and add a layer of believability.
Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet.
Here’s an experimental animation I made using the imagery I’ve been working with. I’m developing my vocabulary with these pieces that I hope to tell a simplistic narrative within them.
This piece is currently being developed on a photopolymer laminated copper plate. Quite excited to get this piece ’Tesseract’ 9″x12″
Here’s the image I have hanging in the Senior Art Exhibition on campus!
Capstone show is Friday Night! I’m very excited for the opening, and this piece is signifying some of my newer works. I’m pushing geometric forms and spacial dimensions. I’ll be developing an image like this one in photopolymer on a copper plate. Most likely as a diffusion dither for an exchange portfolio!

I’ve taken up Printmaking in the past couple years in my undergrad at UMaine and have fallen in love with it. All the images behind this one were intended for print, and I have made a few Photopolymer plates out of some. However, printmaking’s traditional methodology has influenced my digital works as well.
This piece is actually a color proof mockup of a printmaking project based on a sculpture shrine piece that is inspired by the perspective work I have done in Printmaking. (Pardon the run on!)

I wanted to distort the perspective and make the viewer distrust their vision.

Adding more depth by manipulating the shapes. (Again, part of a bigger series. Posting a bit more than usual now to maintain a backlog. Would like to start posting more often while I get used to exploring Tumblr again.)

Here’s the same pattern, with depth added through the use of color to describe light.

Part of my series in dealing with patterns, geometry, and isometric perspectives. #art #pattern #geometry #isometric #math #umaineart
