History Deleted Scott Rodgerson 2025
I kind of made this out of spite. A client had commissioned another artist for an EP cover. Turns out they just found some piece of prefab AI art from a website, then applied a one-click dithering effect to it. I mean, they tried to sell this for money. Anyway, the client still liked something about the piece, and asked if I'd take a crack at doing something real. It was a weirdly stressful negotiation of a piece at times, but there were some good lessons about process here, and some interesting experiments with texture.
