EarthQuaker Devices land in Stockholm
What started as Jamie Stillman soldering in his basement is now a full-blown fuzz empire. At TGT11, he sat down with us to talk accidents, noise, and the new Barros pedal. Started in 2005, EarthQuaker now cranks out 1,500 pedals a week from their Akron, Ohio headquarters. Everything in-house except the bare circuit boards. Their latest? The Barros - a Tone Bender MKII tribute with three germanium transistors, phase-corrected output, and skulls on it. Because that's important. "I realize it might be insane to release a Tone Bender MkII clone in 2025, but fuck it, I like it."
