Imagine thinking that hospital scene was a serve. They were two acquaintances nothing more.

The only reason Josie even wanted to help was because the entire school sees Hope as sturdy tape that holds them together. Josie even confirmed that when she said the hospital would fall apart without Hope, and that's why she needed to figure this out.

She didn't even bother to really ask Hope what she wanted, just why she did it.

If anything, that scene basically proves their are no mutual feelings, and not only that, but Josie thought she wanted to be like Hope and embrace her destiny like Hope, but now she's figured out that's not actually the truth. She idolized her in a way one would an actress on TV, and nothing more.

And her word, solus, pretty much confirms she actually doesn't want to be like Hope and that she doesn't want to follow the same path, but that she has to be on her own bc shes always choosing the school over her love for herself and over Finch, and it's not fair.

Hosies celebrating delusion at this point. But it sure makes for some good laughs!

The western part of the episode was... actually no, the only good part of that was Lizzie and Hope, let's face it. (And the costumes)

Vampire Josie was Bram Stoker's Dracula in a dress. Just.. no.

And then the flop of dark josie 😬

The best part was Hope kicking her through a door.

I mean, the pathetic attempts the squad made (Josie especially) on trying to get Hope’s humanity back when none of them even truly knows Hope or even why she turned off her humanity.

Cleo was the only one who actually understood.

Lizzie would have figured it out in a heartbeat. Honestly, she's the leader you need.

And the hosies? Well, just the fact that they like this episode should warrant you enough caution that it's probably not that good.

Landon walked away during an argument and then KIDNAPPED (Episode 14)

Season 1: (Josie)

They weren't even friends.

Oh, and Josie LIED to Hope and Lizzie for years, and only admitted it when she was caught. Didn't apologize though.

Season 2: (Landon)

Landon walked away from an argument after learning who Hope was (Episode 6) Oh, and let's not forget that Josie ALSO didn't go to Hope.

Landon left the school with Raf to protect everyone because he thought the monsters were after him. (Episode 7)

AU Landon moved away, Hope chose not to go (Episode 14)

Raf stabbed Landon (Episode 15)

LANDON DIED

Season 2 (Josie)

Again, were they even friends?

Josie bullied Hope for the first half, and then avoided her for the second.

And Josie also chose to do black magic and tried to kill MG, Lizzie, Hope and killed Alyssa (but yeah, totally not her... right?)

Season 3:

"Brilliant, gorgeous tribrid hero"

Landon walked away after a fight (Episode 2)

God forbid he actually be allowed to have feelings... I mean, everyone else is allowed to walk away but no, he isn't allowed to feel trauma or pain

LANDON DIED

LANDON GOT POSSESSED

Season 3 (Josie)

Again, are they even friends?

Did she say thank you for saving her? No

Did she even know Hope was not waking up? No

Josie left the school. Did she check up on Hope? No

Did she care that Landon was dead? No

Did she help her "friend" grieve? No

Did she do anything that wasn't remotely selfish? No

Didn't think so.

Instead she whined about her magic, hid it in a coin and needed to be convinced to take it back just to help Hope when she was becoming a monster

Season 4: Landon

Wanted to do anything he could to prevent Hope from becoming a Tribrid because he couldn't stand the thought of her dying

LANDON DIED (you know, after telling Hope to kill him so that she could protect the world)

"I know you're the Tribrid" with pride and love in his eyes

Season 4: Josie

Thought Hope dying was beautiful/did nothing to help or stop her

Didn't even stay near her or watch over her (you know-while Kaleb was kidnapping her)

Didn't go after Hope when she learned Landon died

Only wants Hope back to heal her father

Helping figure out how to kill Hope

So tell me again Ri, how exactly you came to the conclusion you did, because from where I'm sitting, it looks like you just pulled this from your delusional a*s mind and ran with it.

Saw a tweet about how jopes now think it's ok to read other people's fanfictions and laugh about them. So I guess if it's ok for them, it's ok for us too. Let's start with AFP, who decided that this was a thing we are doing now. Fair game right CJ?

First off.. what is this garbage? You clearly don't have an understanding on any of these characters AT ALL. I mean, Hope coming to a slumber party with the twins in barely any clothing? Sure...

So basically the writers confirmed that Alaric has always only seen Hope as a weapon, and rather than take a child in to help her (which was, you know, the while damn point of the school) he took her in to be a shield for his daughters. (Considering one of those daughters tried to set her sister on fire at like 4- maybe Hope wasn't the one he should have been worried about)

And Alaric did nothing to stop the bullying, instead only antagonized the relationship more KNOWING Lizze's feelings about it, especially since she was dealing with mental health (on her own apparently) and rather told Hope that she's stronger than them and to just basically deal with it. And then placated her with ice cream because she was so desperate for family and acceptance .

SHE WAS A CHILD. A DAMN CHILD.

And he could have done something to atop the bullying. But he didn't.

Hope just wanted somewhere to belong.

And then to make matters worse, Josie LIES to both her sister and Hope, creating even more of a toxic atmosphere for her, and I'm supposed to believe the throw away fan service lines of a crush?

Yeah, sure.

Why don't you go ahead and say Hope had Stockholm syndrome with the damn way she was acting in 1x12 over that dumbass line, because despite what she was told, that place was a prison for her, not a home.

Josie confessed to gaslighting both her sister and Hope, and burning down Hope’s room. But yeah- smile like it's a good thing 😀

Imagine the real friendship Lizzie and Hope could have actually had without all the sh*t tossed at them.

Lizzie would have had someone who helped her with her mental health worries, and Hope would have had an actual friend when her parents died.
