My name is Andrea, and I'm from Canada. I am currently training to become a PADI Course Director. During my training, I am running the Dive Master program at Buddha View Dive Resort with Dive Careers. Running the Dive Master program at has been everything I ever wanted. I get to interact with people entering into the professional diving world, and help them to grow and develop into the divers they want to be. From the moment I completed my Open Water course, I knew this was something I wanted to continue to pursue. I quickly started working towards the professional level, and enjoyed the challenges and lessons that came with it. It is such an rewarding experience to now be on the other side of things, and help others the way my course directors helped me. I have the opportunity to staff IDCs, which allows me to continuing on with my Dive Master Candidates, all the way to becoming instructors. I am excited for the day when I become a Course Director. Until then I look forward to whatever comes my way, while also getting the chance to share my passion with others. My life has changed in a way I couldn't even have imagined. I love the lifestyle that diving has given me. The ocean is my office, and flip flops and a bikini are my uniform. I get to meet people from all over the world, while being outside everyday. Everyone has a choice on the way they live their life. If you are not happy, it is your responsibility to change it. Some people have real tragedies in their life that they can not always control, but for most of us we can. So live the life you want. That is what Diving means to me. Possibility! Possibility to do all those things you have always wanted to do. It's time to take control of your own life, and your own happiness.
