at first the vibrations were miniscule. random movements here and there spaced at a manageable pace. it was almost soothing, as if the ground decided to mimic the actions of a massage chair while she proceeded to transform the empty classroom's desk into a nail salon, complete with her gel manicure set. but then the shaking became stronger and stronger, more violent and continuous. jisoo’s initial thought was: shit, an earthquake. it wasn’t until she heard the loud strumming and screaming notes, muffled by the school’s walls and closed doors did she realize that it wasn’t mother nature acting, but someone else instead.
the girl decides she’s had enough when the desk vibrates so hard that it’s causing her nail polish to get streaky, and when the discordant chords are played so loud that it drowns out her playlist. she gets up with a huff, agitated at the inconvenience of the whole goddamn thing. jisoo swings open the door exactly six classrooms away from her, entering unannounced because she doubts the offender would have heard her knocking anyways. hazelnut brown eyes narrow at the girl strumming away on her bass guitar in what she deems to be a loud and obnoxious fashion. “uh, excuse me?” she makes her presence known before continuing, “do you mind turning it down a bit?” voice laced with artificial sweetness and a smile that probably looked like a grimace, “it’s a federal crime to disturb the peace, you know.”
