Life’s too short to miss out on a sister like you

I wonder how fused Zamasu felt when his mortal half basically died. Zamasu and Black in the anime had a way more symbiotic relationship; so when they became one, how did it feel when Black's half died by Goku's attack? Did it feel like dying and coming back? Was he just constantly agonizing from his immortal side compensating the death of the mortal half? And what about mentally, did it feel like "watching" a loved one died? Or was it like dying knowing you're gonna leave your significant one behind?

One moment that I was always thought was done very cutely in the anime was when Cabba introduced himself to the boys and they literally inspected him like two older dogs meeting a puppy. Like if they had their tails they would be WAGGING.
