its so hard to diagnose ennie because her behaviour aligns alot with cluster B personality disorders-specifically ASPD/sociopathy, but she absolutely experiences remorse and empathy often so. pulls mouth . its difficult because she doesnt behave like this out of boredom, lack of empathy or self amusement-its about regaining control and having the upper hand at all times . i dont(only) slap natacha because its funny but because She needs to know her place and this is how i help her
in relation to this i find it very charming at how both ennie and natacha hide behind eachothers identities to not have to be themselves but are so defensive of their own at the same time . in an opposite way . ennie is very openly fine with being natacha yet basically dominates every interaction and the manipulative, coercive and reckless behaviour is her trying to regain and affirm control subconsciously . meanwhile natacha, who is verbally very defensive over her identity will willingly let ennie completely take over so she can dissappear altogether . Also of course like i said this isnt only a self defense thing but mainly an If I Subtly Keep Berating Her She Will Continue To Be Insecure And Need Me thing .and again strangely enough the reason natacha doesnt stand up for herself is because she thinks ennie is right And because . dare i say i think she knows she has the upper hand . shes seen ennie come undone over her so it kind of just occurs to her that Ahw wait shes an even bigger loser than me ok
