Happy Birthday NetworkSoutheast, 40 years today, here’s to another 40 glorious years of the legendary NSE!
Really proud of my latest video, A, C and D stock tube trains just, being what they were and for the d stock RAT, are
A while back I began an A60/A62 stock model, it sat dormant for a while due to the cab roof being laughably wrong, and the doors being inset by about a foot into the coach, however, a few days ago, enthusiasm began building again, so I kept working on it, and got it done!
And then got bored of having A tube train, so in less than 48 hours made 2 more! Noteworthy is the day after I completed the 3rd one, was the 9th anniversary of the final passenger service of one, the legendary District Line’s D78 stock!
So here the trio are, A60/62 stock, C69/77 stock, and D78 stock!
With the news of the withdrawal of 455717, my favourite member of the /7 subclass, I threw this together, the 455s has a couple weeks left at most, so here’s my favourite of each subclass, (45)5916, (45)5871, and (45)5717, it angers me that so far no attempt seems to have been made to save a /7, it brings me joy 5871 is preserved, and it depresses me that 5916 has now joined many of its siblings in complete obliteration, but, with the 455s gone, the flag is passed on to the 319s, but with the final 3 hanging in the balance and certainly not in service, that really just leaves the joyous Networkers, later maybe the 769s, but let’s enjoy the time we still have with these grand old units!
First outing of the year! And nice ol’ 465163 begins the days set of traction!
So, Roblox is going to be adding some new and utterly dangerous features soon, and many many many people are leaving the platform due to it, however, I do not feel like running away, not with all the unfinished project I have, and so, with a boom full of electric loco drawings in one hand, a book of southern electric unit drawings in the other, and bulleid Pacific drawings ahead, I am not backing down, and I am going to, later this year, begin what I’ve been waiting on starting for oh so long, and it will be, utterly, fan-bloody-tastic upon completion!
So, before November ends, here is a New Nelson! A lord nelson!
(Obviously work in progress still)
The 2nd most powerful 4-6-0 to ever run in Britain, only being outdone by the GWR Kings, these leviathans were forever cursed by the Great Depression resulting in the prototype being the only locomotive built for several years and thus crews never really got used to them, of the 16 built only one survives, the prototype, number 850, Lord Nelson
Now something back to my usual:
The British Rail Class 70, formerly the SR Class CC, and affectionately known as the Bulleid Boosters!
CC1/20001/70001 is seen in both photos alongside a class 71 (the production class it was a prototype for) and a 73, a further evolution, I think this has come along quite nicely and quite quickly given I began it less than 4 days ago, still need to add features, sounds, a few details and such to it, then on to making the other 2 members of the class!
This is a bit different from my previous posts however I wish to spread awareness of the glorious news!
A few days ago, at the Derby test track, 507001 ran under its own power for the first time in nearly a year, and the first time at all in preservation, making it, along with 313201, one of the first 3rd rail electrics to move under its own power in preservation, so let’s celebrate the monumental achievement!
3D printed the class 442 for a 3rd time
The train now standing at platform 5 is the 07:23 service to Strawberry Hill via Wimbledon
Working on another thing, not going to say too much about it just yet however
Wessex and Hampshire, West Sussex and London
