The Second Day Overview
After a disconcerting and big start at day one, United Nations and The World Bank started the day saying they are impartial about the rumors of war from the first day and reporting entrepreneurs and others councils about talking to them before saying they made an agreement.
African groups were discussing how they are going to respond to the war announced by The Daily Nation. According to UN China's Ambassador, Miguel, they are not going to start a war. He claims it's fake news and international organizations need to speak to them directly before taking action. UN Secretary-General speaking with China Daily, reported also war is fake news.
At 3:00 p.m., The World Bank had a meeting with entrepreneurs groups, funding some of them to try to finish the urge for an agreement, after China Daily published the call to action from the President of The World Bank.
In the United Nations, UN High Commissioner for Refugees says that they are giving $100 millions dollars again to Rahad, to buy mosquito nets; trying to solve the diseases problem in the refugees’ camps. According to him, they are sending every money that they can to help the situation, but he claims that if Rahad does not use the money correctly, it is their incompetence that is going to let the disease spread.
Western European and U.S. group started RAW program aiming to contribute with both nations. As the image shows:
According to Lily, the press secretary of Atania, Chinese entrepreneurs received help from China and Atania to build a factory which will produce a technology called “Hydroponics”, to help Kin farmers use less water in their cultivation. The technology will also ensure a sustainable development for the farmers’ production. The main idea is to, in the middle of unuseful aids given by other countries, help achieve a final agreement to end the terrible situation between Rahad and Atania.
China and Russia are neutral if the war becomes a reality. China chooses not to pick a side because they have no prior history with both countries involved in the rumors. The Chinese government will only interfere if Chinese people start being threatened by any sides, so they are going to choose one, but just to protect their population.
To end the Day 2 of negotiations, The World Bank and United Nations have a final pronounce: They believe they are putting an end for the situation by their approving an investment to the social entrepreneurs from Russia, China, almost U.S. and South Africa to tackle down the misunderstanding between both sides. They have confidence that their money is going to return later. According to them, they have approved the investment because the entrepreneurship groups sent very useful and detailed proposals. Also, a refugee funding of $300 million to Rahad and $100 million to Atania was approved. They are working with the money invested with the entrepreneurs, they are getting enough money to increase the money for the funding.

WP: Plan of DESALIN Inc.
“We see the problem is created by a lack of access to sustainable water source, and so our solution is to create a sustainable water source. By doing this, we would install desalination plants along the coast of Africa, specifically between Rahad and Atania. And then we would be able to sell the clean water to Rahad and Atania respectively. The ocean is the only source of water that will never dry out in a drought. Therefore, we can ensure that we will have a sustainable supply. Furthermore, with the salination plants, the problems are carbon footprints, and the salt solution that goes back into the ocean. We are operated entirely on a solar power plant through photovoltaic cells. Our solution is further put through a chemical treatment process where it is turned back into sodium chloride which we then sell across the world as bath salts, which will further help us spread our mission,” mentioned the owner of Desalin Incorporation.”
Fox: A Solution in Sight?
In my recent talk with the legal counsel to the ambassador of Poland, she says that Poland has reached an alliance with Peru, Russia, Bolivia, Brazil, Estonia and Russian desalination company Desalin Inc. Their goal is to solve the water scarcity problem and they want to create a desalin plant between rahad and atania. Their plant will take water and purify it for usage. They say their plant is eco-‐friendly runs on solar power. It won’t polute the ocean and they can use the left over salts to use for bath salts. Poland and Bolivia have also spoken out about their view towards the Atania and Rahad. They have both would choose to support Rahad if they had to. Bolivia says that they see the act of Atania expelling their refugees as an cruel and inhumane act. Meanwhile Poland has said that they dislike how in the Atania put limitations on the water usage in the past. While other countries have been choosing sides, the African coalition has said that they are staying neutral. All the African countries have said that they don’t believe in the whole Atania and Rahad rivalry and they’re focused on making peace. They want a solution and peace for everyone and all countries. According to the legal counsel of Rahad, “The African coalition is the best”. She says that she believes the African coalition is the best because they are working to solve the water crisis but at the same time they are working to improve the quality of life for the people. “The other countries are after profit,” she says. She thinks that all the other countries, maybe even including what Poland and Peru are doing, is because they are looking for investment and profit. She says that the African coalition care about the life of all the citizens and helping ensure them a quality life and their civil rights. The African coalition seems to be the only group that doesn’t believe in taking sides. Desalination plants also seem to be the solution everyone is after. The group formed by Peru, Bolivia, Estonia, Poland, and Desalin Inc are proposing a plan using desalination plants as so is the African coalition. The real question is who will actually be able to help the water crisis and problems Rahad and Atania are facing.
The Star: A UNITED FRONT FROM AFRICAN NATIONS – NO WAR
Rumours are false – the African Coalition have confirmed that there will be NO WAR.
Meanwhile, AquAfrica, the South African entrepreneurs have reaffirmed their commitment ‘not only to economic growth but also to the environmental sustainability of our continent’. They emphasize that their aim is to support not only the current crisis of Rahad and Atania, but all other African nations facing water crises. AquAfrica remind us all that weater scarcity is what created the problem and should therefore be our main priority in attempting to solve the issue – with cutting edge technology, AquAfrica are leading the way in providing these much-needed solutions. They also send a message to the refugees, ‘We are here for you’.
But is the plight of the refugees finally going to be relieved? Japan, Brazil, Ethiopia, and Sweden have formed a coalition who have said that they will receive some of the refugees for permanent resettlement in their respective countries. This will be in return for trade advantages and first place in any future plans for industrializing Rahad and Atania. However, this plan brings its own set of problems for human rights defenders who say that bargaining in human life and suffering like this is ‘morally repugnant’. AquAfrica have made statement regarding this, saying that Ethiopia’s ‘intentions are good’.
Japan, meanwhile, argue that this plan will be beneficial for both Japan and the refugees as Japan has a good infrastructure which can support the influx of refugees. However, Japan has said that this is only part of the solution and that they are working towards a solution with other Asian countries.

Update on the UN Summit- Progress and Fake News
With the start of this humanitarian crisis in Atania and the efforts the United Nations are making to solve this crisis, it seems the world has been lacking a major component in discussing the solutions―Atania specifically the Kin people. While countries like the United States are using this as an opportunity to pull war stunts on China, the Kin people continue to suffer in silence. Our reporter James O’keefe decided to interview the Atanian representatives on what they thought was the way forward.
The representatives of Atania said they wanted the world to know that they are working closely with the United Nations and the African Peace Coalition to come up with a perfect resolution to the conflict. When our reporter asked about the widely rumored impending nuclear war, she said they had no knowledge of any formally declared nuclear war and will like to question the credibility of news agencies spreading such falsehood.
Also, in another exclusive interview with the United Nations Secretary-General on some of the issues surrounding the Rahad-Atania water crises, she mentions progress with collaborations with the World Bank to help prevent nuclear warfare which she attributed to the spread of false news.
It seems a lot of bullshitting by Western media is really not helping the process. When asked about some of the obstacles that the United Nations is currently facing in ensuring a smooth process and the passing of resolutions, she said: “Fake news is really making the process difficult and really confusing even for us.”
The role of the media should be neutral in any process but as we see now, western media groups have been really biased and politically motivated in the Rahad-Atania water crisis.
Update on France and the World Cup
Positive Press is giving an update after speaking to France. They have stated that “France does not want the World Cup to affect their political views.” Additionally, “France has not spoken to Croatia because sporting events are not important to their resolutions.” This information came directly from the French Ambassador to the UN and is completely reliable.
Positive Press: Update on Poland
"Poland, Russia, Peru, Estonia, and Bolivia are all working together to find peace. They are writing a neutral resolution that provides water to both Atania and Rahad through the Desalin company." This is a plan which is very helpful because they are positively benefitting both nations. This came from the Legal Council to Poland and it is clear that they want to be neutral and genuinely help both nations.
CLOSED SESSION ONGOING: WLH 112
Press and other groups’ delegates may not enter Room 112.
