Our solutions
the problems
team view
this is our team view about sea level rising.
human activities, like cutting down rain forest, meat production, use of oil and coal and even use of hairspray causes the climate to change and warm up. We can notice the global warming, by less snow in winter and hotter summers.
40% of the United States lives in relatively high population denstity where sea level plays a role in flooding. 8 of the 10 largest cities lie near to the coast, that means when the sea level rises even more this important cities will be flushed away.
This problem would affect us, because we are n.1 country at risk. So we have to think ahead about what kind of world we want our children to live in.
We think that this will be a serious problem in the future because the sea level will rise really high very soon. This will cause a lot of problems for example, we don’t have enough living space for all the people. So we have to do something about this problem with the whole world. laws would help, but raising awairness wouldn’t,
we think that when we would use another source for our elektriciy, we would only use elektric cars, only selling saving lamps and people wouldn’t smoke anymore the sea level shouldn’t rise any higher. This could ofcourse only work when the whole world works together!

How can we stop climate change?
How can we stop climate change ? We can't really stop climate change anymore because we went already to far to save it all. There are still a lot of possibilities to make the climate change less. We just need to change our life style. Or even do little things like eating less meat or just cleaning up our garbidge. Can the climate change stop?It is possible but we need to change our life style for example meat production and exhaust gases.also we need to think more about the nature. Source:http://www.davidsuzuki.org/what-you-can-do/top-10-ways-you-can-stop-climate-change/ When did climate change start?it began in the early 19th century when the industrial factories came up. Source:http://www.ucsusa.org/global_warming/science_and_impacts/science/human-contribution-to-gw-faq.html What is the main reason that the climate change has taken place. The main reason are people because of how they life how they eat and what they invent. Source:http://www.ucsusa.org/global_warming/science_and_impacts/science/human-contribution-to-gw-faq.html Tell 2 reosons how We can change climate change?we can change climate with energy efficient and be careful with your garbidge.these are some possibilities but there are a lot more then you actually think. How can we stop the sea level from rising?
How can we stop the sea level from rising?
Let’s first talk about what causes the sea level to change, because if we know that we can do something about it. As some of you may know is sea level rising a problem. But what causes sea level rising?
The earth constantly goes through warming and cooling cycles. Over the past 400.000 years there have been four such cycles. The peak of the last glacial was 20.000 years ago. At that time sea levels were 400 feet below present day levels.
So that maybe doesn’t sounds like, wow that is so much, but if you count it on along the next few years, you are not going to like it.
Sea level rising is actually just ice that melts because global warming goes to fast and the world is getting to warm, ice melts and it becomes water. The water becomes more and more and that is a problem because then we have less land so there is not enough living space. We asked some children if they know that sea level rising is a problem and if they care and these are some answers:
-Yes I know it's a problem but I don't really care because I don't know a lot about it so yeah…
-Yes I know it's a problem I don't care I’m already dead when it's a big problem.
-Yes I know it's a problem and of course I care because it's my world and we have to make the best out of it.
-I don't know.. Is it a problem? Ow yeah I don't really care.
So the conclusion is that most people don't care but they should because as one of the children said it's our world and we have to take care of it. Our opinion is that we have to take care of our world and that we all should care about sea level rising because we want our children to live in a good and safe world. If we all help a bit, it's a big difference.
But now how can we stop the sea level from rising?
We can stop it, if we stop the global warming. And how can we stop global warming, but what causes global warming? We think you heard about global warming and that we can stop it. These days almost everyone has a car and that car repels bad petrol, petrol is one of the reasons ice melts and sea level rising starts. So just take your bike or buy a car that rides on electricity. That already helps a lot to stop global warming. And if global warming gets less, the sea level stops bit by bit from rising.
But you can also help if you recycle plastic etc. Because if we all throw our plastic etc in the bin, we get a lot of garbage. And garbage also gives some sort of weird dust that causes global warming. Use less water, or less energy by turning your lights off when you don’t use them. You also can use energy saving lamps. This were some ideas what you can do to stop the global warming and so the sea level to rise. So if we all help a little we can change our future lives.

Why would people not care about global warming/ sea level rising? - Money is the big thing. All people want more money because that gives them power. For example Trump started all coal power plants to make more electricity to sell for lots of money. If trump keeps going with this all the progress that Obama had made was for nothing. - electric cars are made to be better for the environment but people don't buy them for this. They buy them so it looks like they care about the environment. The company's also don't made the cars for the environment but for more money and a better status. - People also say that there is to less not tv or in Ads about the environment so it looks not a big problem but it is. The people who don't care are mostly rich or poor people. Trump is the most famous one at the moment and of the near future. He is saying that climate change is invented by the Chinese to make more money. The people who care are mostly scientist or people who went once to space. Another thing that is a big role, is that the solutions are too expensive to build. Also people think that they can't do anything about it, because they think they don't have the materials to help or the knowledge.

Main Questions:
1-How can you reverse the damage that has been done?
Answer: NO, we released tons of carbon dioxide stored in fossil fuels. The carbon dioxide will circulate for many millenia in the atmosphere before it returns into the composition we like the most. It doesn’t go away, unless we remove it ourselves. Technology doesn't help, you can use greenhouses and be more careful with using gas. The people can also partly pump the water away, but is never will solve this problem completely. It’s already getting warmer and if we continue with this, there will be huge consequences.

Subquestions:
1-How far are we in the progress of damage?
Answer: It has been getting a little warm lately. In November 2015, Brits experienced the hottest November days ever recorded in the UK. That was shortly followed by news from the World Meteorological Organization that 2015 is likely to be the hottest year since records began.

"It is not the number of people on the planet that is the issue – but the number of consumers and the scale and nature of their consumption," says David Satterthwaite, a senior fellow at the International Institute for Environment and Development in London. He quotes Gandhi: "The world has enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed."

2- if the icecaps are gone can we bring back the ecosystem.
Answer: the ecosystem on the poles is a really complex one because there is already not a lot of food so if we could bring back the ice we should also bring back the fish and the polar bears etc but if we would take these polar bears into a resort till the ice is back, they wouldn't know how to hunt so probably most of them would die in the wild, and then it is the question if the polar bears that survived would make children.

4-If we stop the sea from rising will it reverse automatically the damage?
