Sixteen years pass, leading to the year 1988, when she turns 31.

May I ask a question? Xavier is six years older than Shel, but they ended up attending the same school. When Shel was 15 years old, he would have already been 21. Wouldn’t he normally be studying at university while she was still in high school under regular circumstances?
