“How do I keep falling for these scams in the bazaar!?”
"The trust of an innocent is the liars' most useful tool." Biting down into a recently purchased apple he smiled over at his old friend and then offered him a bite. "I'd like to believe my adviser is smarter than the average grifter!" He teased.
The other male couldn’t possibly be serious. Judal pick another nickname for his least favorite king? Studying Sinbad for a moment, he grinned again, “I guess I could call you……. Sidiot.” He laughed at his own joke, despite how horrible it was — apparently that amused him. Shifting on the desk, the Magi moved his leg and leaned forward, braid slipping over his shoulder to hang into Sinbad’s lap.
His face was mere inches from the other’s, crimson hues staring into molten sun rays, “Your city will still be here when you get back. All work and no play makes everyone dull, Sinbad.” It was the first time that day he’d used Sinbad’s full name, a simple show of how serious he was about leading the other man out of his office — even if only for a few minutes.
Sliding off the desk he grabbed the front of Sinbad’s robes and used his strength to haul the taller man up out of his chair. He started for the door, happily keeping hold of the King’s robes, “Let’s go, Sidiot. You can tell Jafar that you needed a break later!”
⊰♓⊱ For a moment he just gave him a blank stare. Sidiot. Continues to stare blankly for another moment or two before he exhaled loudly once more. ..Sidiot. "Feel free to go back to Idiot King." He groaned, fingertips sliding along his forehead. Why him? Was this karma? Payback for how he tortured Ja'far.
As Judal slithered closer, Sinbad merely raised a brow, hardly shying away. He kept perfectly still as the two practically shared breath. "Don't you have work to do?" Despite all the hassling he had to chuckle, it was oddly endearing.
When the other began literally tugging at him he laughed. "Alright alright, Judal. I'm coming, are you happy mm?" As he stood tall, he glanced over at the other, his smile softening a bit. "Since when did you crave it by the way? My attention?" He smirked, teasing. Mostly.
⊰♓⊱ Head swimming he sat up, sheets pooling about his waist. Nhhh. Judging by how bright the room he wondered if it was close to noon already? Pushing off of the bed, body bare he grunted and began to dress.
Exiting his bedroom while fingertips press firmly against his temple to stave off the pounding headache he headed for the kitchen. Household servants passed by, smiling pleasantly enough; giggling. Chuckling. Their King was indeed hungover yet again.
"Ja'far..?" Throat bone dry his voice was raspy. There was an appointment he had today, what time did it start? What time was it now?!

{☀}—Masrur stepped forward toward the King’s throne. Masrur paused as he got a few feet from Sinbad. Sinbad’s normal cheerful smile and jesting was replaced with a dark aura and commanding presence. A commanding presence that he rarely used.
This was a part of Sinbad that he rarely ever had seen, but knew it was there deep down. Masrur was shocked by this change, and wondered if he should bow down. He quickly dismisses the idea. This was Sinbad. They were close friends. After this quick conflict, the general decided to stand. He was no longer a slave. He never had to bow again unless it was a pledge or war cry. This was just a conversation.
Masrur listens quietly to Sinbad’s reasoning. Masrur was surprised, but not against the idea. In fact, he was more for it. "I’ll always have faith in you, my king, and you know I was never against a war. The Kou Empire will never be stopped by words." The Fanalis was no stranger to killing. He had been trained to be a killer since he was three. He out of all the other generals was for this war. He’d even been looking for it.
"It is not this war you have decided to declare that I am worried about. I am worried about what has made you come to this decision….Your different…more…sinister……" Masrur paused, he wasn’t sure if he should ask, but he had to know. He steps closer to his king, ”…Sinbad have you fully fallen into depravity?”
⊰♓⊱ Different? He supposed so, deep down. The light that was inside of him, all but snuffed out. A few remaining but not enough to have saved him from the pull of other side. But it was for the good of his country. His Sindria. He lived and breathed his people, not only would the King die for them but he would sell his soul to keep his people safe.
"Sinister?" A chuckle rumbled in his chest. "Do you really think so? Simply because I choose war with a people that would see my land destroyed? Her people slaughtered? Sinister because I choose to fight Kou? Curious."
As Sinbad eased around the room, his back now to Masrur he grunted and paused in mid-stride, glancing back at the other from over his shoulder. Depravity?
"Is it depraved to want to see your people flourish?" Despite himself his voice raised, lip curling ever so slightly as golden eyes flashed. Hardening somewhat. "I have done what I felt I needed to do to. To push myself further, to evolve. I had to sacrifice to make a difficult decision."
"I ask again, do you doubt me? Your King?" Again his voice raised ever so slightly. Daring Masrur to challenge.

⊰♓⊱ Mouth run dry he swallowed hard before looking away from the teasing wench in a huff. Arms folded across his chest.
"Eris I swear to the Gods.. don't be rude." He hummed under his breath.

⊰♓⊱ Bowing low towards the grand looking woman before him he straightened up and offered an easy smile. "Welcome to Sindria! My humble country is yours to peruse as you please. But might I ask, to what do I owe the pleasure of your company?"
*Grins brightly, leaning forward.* Well, it's about time you asked! I~ enjoy sparring and fighting games~. And of course dungeon capturing~! *Pulls one leg up against his chest, arms wrapping around it.* We can do any of those, Idiot King. Just pick one!
⊰♓⊱ Exhales loudly. "Is there another nickname you could give me?" Though he tried to sound stern, he was somewhat amused. Such a dangerous, powerful being he was. Why was that attractive? It aroused his senses, his need to plunder, for adventure.
The freedom this man had was incredible.
No responsibilities..
With a grunt he looked away, teeth grit. "I can't! I have..I have a city to run." Tempting thing, damn him. "I can't just pick up and go, it's not like it used to be. Things change, people change." He shook his head, fingertips touching along his temple, massaging it. "Besides, Ja'far would have my head if I left without finishing up my paperwork." A forced chuckle.
公主; It suited her? She gawked with a tightly closed mouth. Her hand deposited safely into his grasp and as he pushed open the door and the crisp salty air greeted her face a kaleidoscope flit before her eyes. She held back a gasp.
They were all wonderful. The brightest colored bird she spotted in Kou were pheasants compiled of gold and red. Beyond that most of the birds were simple or drab little creatures. She’d been fond of doves, probably due to Koumei. But that thing’s beak could swallow her hand and she eyed it curiously as it flit towards Sinbad without any hesitation and traversed his arm.
“Ehh, my but you remind me of my Zhengsheng. He always comes around regardless of what I’m doing but you’re far lovelier,” she cooed and recalled the little drab nightingale that often waited for her to return from her expeditions. The birds near her garden became so tame they approached without fear but were nowhere as lovely as the Southern birds with plumage that could surely make the great Southern King envious with their vibrant colors. “I’m afraid I might only have sugar cubes, my friend,” she spoke not to the king. “I’ve nothing to offer but my company. Would that be suitable?” any iciness to her completely melted. People she never understood entirely but animals were always honest. Best of all if one showed them kindness the affections were often returned.
She hummed softly. “No, you’re looking for something more substantial aren’t you?” She carried sugar cubes in a small satchel beneath the wide tie on her hanfu in case she ran into any horses and she slipped her hand away briefly from the king as she shifted the darker pink ribbon around the decorative sash around her waist and opened a small white sack. The sugar cubes knocked against her fingers but at the bottom. “I have some nuts from Kou, do you think he’d like them?”
⊰♓⊱ "He's a finicky bird, Gita. But he likes you." He watched as the pair 'conversed' whenever she spoke, Gita chittered back, his beak clicking together rapidly. Animals were far more intelligent than most people assumed. Smarter than even some people he knew, to be honest.
The great bird had his head tilted off to the side, allowing himself to watch her closely as she rummaged through a small satchel. "You're getting fat as it is my friend, maybe you should relax with your treats anyway, mm?" He teased. From the smug tone, Gita could tell he said something unsavory and with a swift movement he bapped his massive beak against Sinbad's temple. "Ow! I was joking!" Sinbad huffed, rubbing at the now sore spot.
"I believe he'd love those, actually." Arm still crooked he waited patiently as Gita became excitable. Flapping his wings once or twice he puffed his chest out before settling down again.
"You're very good with animals, do you have any pets at home?" He inquired. Definitely a more personable man now that the politics were done for the time being.
His tone was light, hardly trying to be invasive. He was simply curious about the woman before him. With the bird on his arm he began to walk towards the far end of the balcony towards a monstrous marble staircase lay, leading down towards the plush maze-like court-yard. The flora as vivid as the fauna in Sindria and blooming plant-life surrounded them. Pinks, yellows, reds, purples, a mish-mash of exploding color.

"Hehehe one can’t never be careful enough around you Sinbad, I have seen how much trouble you give my poor son but I’m not here for that~" An amiable smile formed on her lips as she attempted to tease back her king.
⊰♓⊱ "Trouble! Me? Now does that sound like Sinbad to you?" He replied, a sly look about him. "Ah you need no excuse to stop by Sindria my dear, it's always a pleasure to see you." His smile was true as he bowed low towards the other.
"How is your son, by the way?"

⊰♓⊱ "Ah, Rurumu!" His former mentor did certainly catch him off guard. "Have you come to check to see if i've finished my homework?" Tone light, he teased his former mentor.
☪ ● ● ● He hesitated only briefly before picking up the material in his rough hands, so fine and far more expensive than he could afford to keep in his wares. If a higher class patron desired something crafted from such fine material, they would have had to provide him with it himself, regrettably. The man before him seemed, by all impressions, to be a very level headed man and a more than capable King, if his analogy about the desert island was any indication.
He fumbled briefly at the mention of the Princess, dropping a few tacks in a rain of clicks and clacks against the polished marble floor. He hastily gathered them back up and pinched them between his lips, nodding swiftly but with his gaze carefully hooded behind the lip of his burlap cap; Princess Yum Yum. Yes… she was beautiful…
⊰♓⊱ At the reaction, Sinbad had to smile. It was quite adorable. Clearly this young cobbler was infatuated with the Princess. Eyes shift down towards the fabric, watching him admire the feel of it, the material. "Her father is.. " Choosing his words carefully he chuckled. "..laid back." Not that he assumed the King to be lazy by any means just, well, he wasn't quite sure how to categorize him. A caring man to be sure.
However his eyes darkened slightly. "But your Vizier.." Trailing off for a moment he pricked a fingertip with the end of a needle lightly, testing how sharp it was. "..your King would be wise to choose another adviser. He threatens trade with Sindria, persuading the King that we are not needed."
"We are your Kings' best interest, not your Vizier. I fear he will lead him down the wrong path and our method of 'correction' might not be to your Kings liking." He exhaled a quiet sigh.
She hums as she slowly pours herself a cup of wine~
