““Inua of the Fox" in carved walrus ivory fox/man transformation mask at center, Ptarmigan bird feet and head along with wings and tail mounted on whale baleen rings, two miniature leg trap fetishes, titled verso and marked "KUV, Yup'ik Eskimo, Tuntutuliak" (a village near Bethel). There is a story that goes with this of a hunter for ptarmigan, who becomes lost and is guided by a fox-faced shaman from the underworld.”.
