     Icarus spun the globe carefully look at it with immense interest. “So this is what the Earth looks like?” she mumbled to herself. She turned towards the other being in the room. “Have you heard of these places? What is ‘Europe’? I only recognize Crete…”

it was interesting to see how much the world had changed, how some territories seemed to have grown smaller to give place to new ones.    ‘    must be where the old mortal world used to be,   ’      his eyes stopped at a particular area, index finger pointing directly at the atlantic sea.   ‘   here.  i think i’ve drowned some people here... once or twice.     ’      definitely more than that. and it shouldn’t be, but it was a humorous tone he had on.

“is anyone sitting here,” hypnos prompted the other god, having approached him upon entering the room. although, despite their words, it didn’t seem they cared to wait for an answer from the other as they were dropping down beside the god of the sea almost immediately. their gaze, half lidded but attentive, swept around the room briefly before landing on poseidon once they had gotten comfortable on the couch. “you look disgusting,” they offered, lips pursing thoughtfully. “have you been sick?” / @seashaking

he wasn’t sure of how long he’s been drinking water  --------  was it his third or fourth bottle within the last hour?      ‘    yes.    ’      a reply was given as soon as poseidon noticed the other god.  it was a lie, obviously;  he was just messing around.    ‘    i’m dying, what do you think?     ’      of course they had to go there, but hypnos had a point: he was feeling sick.       ‘    it’s just a dehydration, but it’s annoying,      ’      a sigh escaped.      ‘    you’re not feeling anything?      ’     his brows then knitted themselves together in confusion.  he couldn’t be the only one feeling any kind of consequence to that whole situation  (   besides not having his powers anymore )      -    could he ?

              THE KING OF THE GODS wakes first. ZEUS finds himself in a tall box of a room, a parlour if he is not mistaken. portraits line the walls— though their faces have been scratched off and replaced with bright red crosses. one painting, however, remains on the ceiling with its faces intact. a fresco by rubens of mount olympus. on the floor with him lays his brother, their feet intertwined like children. POSEIDON stirs and pushes the other away. both glare at the figure strewn across the only couch. COEUS blinks.

              ‘ ugh, STOP. ’ zeus groans, his glare now directed at his brother, before he moves and gets up, looking around the room. this is not his bedroom, nor on of the the ones he’d seen in olympus before. he looks at the paintings on the wall, their faces barely there and frowns. his gaze, however, returns to the fresco everytime. ‘ H O W did we get here ?? and where are the others ?? ’ he asks, because no matter what, he worries about his family. he looks down at coeus and in the end, he goes to sit down next to his brother again, too confused and tired to try to be sassy. ‘ we need to go back HOME. ’ // @seashaking​

             ‘     well, it’s not my fault if you wouldn’t move.     ‘        a sigh escaped from parted lips, and if anyone could see his expression right now      -    confused would be what they’d assume.  he doesn’t recognize this place:   this is not the olympus,      &      clearly this is not his home.      poseidon wouldn’t feel confusion if it happened to be any of the two,     that too was obvious.     ‘      i don’t know   -    i’ve been wondering the same thing, actually.      ‘        no, he hasn’t.   yet, at least.      ‘    yes,    -     but how do we go back home, brother?    i mean,    ‘        blonde brows knitted themselves together,    h is eyes glancing at the redness coloring the paintings.   it was a genuine doubt,    &     otherwise they would’ve remembered how they arrived there     -   right  ?     he couldn’t sense any coast either, but that would’ve been too easy.    ‘     i can’t even remember anything.      ‘           he waits for some reaction from coeus: which one of them woke up first?
