for the rest of you: a friend of mine is doing a run of pokemon infinite fusion where he has made fusions based on our friends' OCs/sonas combined with some other mon we enjoy, and i was so tickled by it i decided to draw the team!

the sprites you made for umbreon/lycanroc midnight and umbreon/rockruff give me life!!! a friend of mine is doing a 'friend run' of infinite fusion and happened upon those when looking for a fitting match to fuse with my umbreon sona, and we both knew it was perfect as soon as we saw it... i love the rave dog goober, she is perfect <3

currently doodling the whole team for fun, including that one, i'll send it your way when i'm done!

what program do you use for pixel art? i really love how your art looks you’re an awesome artist <3

Thank you so much! I primarily use paint.net (sometimes called paint dot net or pdn), with a bit of aseprite on the side for things like animation and tracing over rough sketches i've made.

Paint.net is kind of a free (albeit more rudimentary) photoshop alternative, but I've found it to be consistently pretty solid for pixel art over the decade+ i've been using it (you'll just have to adjust some settings like switching the brush to aliased rendering and setting scaling modes to nearest neighbour etc). Aseprite on the other hand is focused specifically on pixel art and lets you do a lot of things you can't do with pdn like animation and has various neat little tools and plugins. It's also available on steam if that suits your fancy.

Honestly speaking, I do think aseprite is probably the better of the two for pixel art, but I'm kinda stubborn and there's some aspects of paint.net's UI that I prefer so I use them both.

Another paradox mon!!

Purring Dew: Thought to be an ancient predecessor to Skitty, it prances about while swinging its sticky tail around playfully. Any small Pokémon unfortunate enough to get caught on its tail will be toyed with before being torn apart by sharp teeth.

Venom Grin - Ice/Poison

It boasts huge teeth and claws dripping with ice-cold poison, and a secondary upper mouth for catching flying prey. This Pokémon's existence would explain many inconsistencies in the Arctovish fossil record.

According to new theories posted by fans of a certain paranormal magazine, below the Great Crater of Paldea there lies a lost, unfathomably deep ocean that exists beyond the flow of time. Though doubts have been raised about the veracity of these claims, there are an increasing number of reported sightings of strange beings that have, apparently, somehow found their way to the surface from this murky realm.

One such creature, Sunken Cloak, has been reported by many individuals. Bearing a resemblance to Swadloon, it is swathed in an odd gelatinous material typical of its deep-sea brethren - which it uses to cling to surfaces so tightly that no known force can pry it away.

According to some, Murky Stars is a monster that wanders the rocky seamounts of a timeless ocean. Observations suggest it is usually a scavenger, scraping rocks and bones clean with sharp teeth on the ends of its tails - but it has also been seen hunting live prey with absolute ferocity.
